Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Traditional house with a contemporary style. We're ideal for Alton Towers & Cbeebies land and close to the M6 half way between The North West and the West Midlands. The house comfortably sleeps 6 and 7 at a push. Lots of space to chill out including a private garden for some fresh air. There's a large fully equipped Kitchen, a spacious dining area and a lounge to relax. There are 2 bedrooms including a triple bed and a huge luxurious bathroom with a stand alone bath and separate shower.

Granville House West Wing

The apartment is on 3 floors within a grade II listed building. The kitchen is spacious with a log burner and all the nice appliances such as an American style fridge freezer, wine cooler, range cooker, coffee machine and a dishwasher. The glass-blown staircase leads up to the the snug and dressing room, which is cosy, off this is the bathroom with a large walk in shower and an infa-red sauna. The staircase in the snug leads up to the bedroom which is under a beautiful array of beams.

The Old School, is located in the small village of Blymhill, in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. For those wanting a quiet, rural break, guests can enjoy the many public footpaths that surround the village. Attractions nearby include Weston Park, RAF Cosford and the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. For those wanting to explore further, the historic towns of Bridgnorth & Shrewsbury are within easy driving distance, Birmingham too can be reached easily by car or train.

This is the perfect base to really enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer- including the most epic view of all at Monsal Head and the Headstone Viaduct.
