Sitting on the banks of the Sabinal River just outside the quaint town of Utopia, Popie’s Place is a great spot for your next hill country adventure! This unique home sits up high on stilts giving you a great view of the huge bald cypress trees that line the river. In addition to the 2 bedroom/2 bath house, there’s and additional bunkhouse at the the ground level! Fully furnished with Directv in the living room and every bedroom! Each bedroom has a full and single bed. Bottom floor has one bedroom with a queen bed, living space with a pull out couch & spacious dining and kitchen area.

Rustic ranch home with master bedroom (queen), and a loft with a double bed and two single beds. Downstairs has a sleeper sofa, couches and comfy chairs to relax in after a day in the river.

Offering a stylish bunkhouse on the beautiful Sabinal River. It is close to the Frio River, Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park.. Surrounded by the famous Twisted Sisters. Watch deer roam the property, enjoy swimming in the river (direct access) or the property pool which is shared with our family and one other cabin. We live right next door on the property (the Bunkhouse is a guesthouse) and will be available to assist you the best we can.
