The guesthouse is located in the same courtyard as the main building, but the entire guesthouse is for your exclusive use. All this only 20 minutes from the airport and the city. View of magical mountains and sailing into Tromsø city. You can see some of the mountains in Lyngen Alps from the house. Here you can enjoy silence, relaxation, midnight sun in summer and northern lights and Arctic great skies in winter. 10 minutes drive from the airport and 20 minutes by car from the house to Tromsø City center. We recommend the use of a rental car.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
