Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Val-d'Oire-et-Gartempe

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Christophe qui a su être très réactif dans les échanges. L’emplacement est idéal : proche du centre-ville et de la gare, ce qui rend les déplacements très faciles. La maison est spacieuse, agréable à vivre et parfaitement équipée ! Nous y étions pour un week-end entre amies, et avons trouvé tout le nécessaire. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Logement spacieux, terrasse très agréable avec belle vue. Le barbecue a été apprécié. Les hôtes ont été discrets. Je recommande !

Très bel endroit calme et très jolie maison, dépaysement garanti!De plus, les hôtes étaient vraiment très accueillants et chaleureux, Camille fait tout pour que l'on se sente chez soi, et donne de bons conseils sur les activités et balades à faire dans le coin. j'ai pu grâce à elle visiter les thermes romains de Chassenon, je les vous recommande! toute la famille est très sympa, même le chat. et le bonus : Mlle toutou est très très très gentille, très câline et avec mon chien ils se sont supers bien entendus ! Je vous recommande cette maison et ses hôtes à 100%!

Très bon séjour à la campagne, Sylvie a été très accueillante, l’endroit était très calme. Logement impeccable très propre, le seul petit bémol nous avons eu un peu froid la nuit.

Lieu très calme est agréable. Relativement proche de Limoges donc beaucoup de chose à porter. Hôte agréable et sympathique, Anne nous a très bien accueilli ! Si nous devions revenir un moment sur Limoges nous n'hésiterons pas à réserver ici à nouveau !

Nous avons adoré séjourner dans ce logement L’endroit est calme et paisible, un vrai cocon pour un week end en amoureux. L’endroit est chaleureux, maigres la pluie nous avons aimé nous reposer aux chaud du poêle dans ce studio et regarder passer les canards de Véronique Le studio est équipé, la literie est confortable (ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas en Airbnb) si comme nous vous avez des problèmes de dos vous pouvez y aller tranquille on dort bien ! Antoine was a great host, and his traditional apartment is lovely and convenient for all the local historical sites. The bed on the mezzanine is unusual but easy to access, with practice.

Très ben accueil à la grange de l’ours. Le lit de notre fils de 13 ans était prêt, des petites attentions nous attendait. Le chauffage est efficace car mis en route à notre arrivée nous n’avons pas attendue longtemps avant d’être au top. Merci ☺️

Parfait come d’hab. Très calm et privé, mais seulement 5 min à pied à restaurants.

Logement bien aménagé. Très fonctionnel et cosy. Extrêmement bien situé, centre ville proche et accessible à pied. Un grand parking à proximité. Hôte toujours disponible si besoin. Excellent séjour

Herve gave me a very warm welcome and was extremely kind, helpful and flexible. He explained everything I needed to know about the place clearly. It was very clean and bright. The location is fantastic, being very close to the centre of the town and also provides easy access to buses. I would happily stay at Herve's place again.

The moment we walked into La Grenouillere, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our holiday in France. We were a party of 12 (three families) and felt we had so much space to spread out and relax, which we did so instantly. The positioning is wonderful, away from busy life, just nature and silence all around. Everything was lovely -beautiful building, large indoor living areas, wonderful outside spaces too with a fantastic pool, big enough for us all. The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking evenings, the barbeque was brilliant for outside cooking and a popular choice for all. Morning coffee on the back terrace overlooking the grounds was a great way to start the day as was sipping wine and beer sitting out the front watching the sun down and then star gazing . Playing boules on the ready made boules pitch was a highlight, so was playing cards round the kitchen table, big enough for us all. The surrounding area was beautiful and well used by us all, cycling or running on the many gravel paths criss crossing the countryside. There is plenty to do in and around the area-towns / cities to visit. We went to Angouleme and Poitiers and enjoyed eating outout and seeing the sites. We also enjoyed the canoeing at Mansle (wonderful to see the countryside from the meandering river on our 3 hour paddle), the inflatable water park near Angouleme was a big hit with our kids (big kids), as was the tree tops high ropes with us all. All in all we had an amazing experience and brilliant time. We were all very sad to leave.

Je recommande à 100% le logement de Frédéric ! Ma famille et moi avons passé un excellent séjour. Frédéric a eu la gentille attention de préparer un joli sapin décoré pour notre arrivée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié ! La maison est très spacieuse, la pièce à vivre est une merveille, nous nous y sommes très bien sentis. La maison est assez spacieuse pour que chacun puisse avoir son espace, ce qui est très appréciable. Merci Frédéric et bonne continuation !

This is a very well equipped villa. The location surrounding was a concern but we slept in late every morning so noise was not an issue. Very secure and not overlooked.

We had a great stay at Valerie’s house. Due to ferry delays we didn’t arrive at the house until 10.30pm. Valerie had left the house with lights on and the key in a safe place so we could check ourself in. The house itself is stylish. Interesting pictures on the walls, lovely furniture and amazing choices of colour schemes. It felt like a really good Airbnb experience where you got to experience someone else’s home. Kitchen was really well stocked, beds were comfortable and linen and towels were all fine. The pool was amazing. It was 38-40 degrees whilst we were there and the pool was a saviour. We have 3 x young children 3,5,7 so are always a bit nervous about pools but, for us, this pool was far enough away from the house and it had an alarm. There is no fence though, so something to think about with kids. The layout of the house is 2 x double bedrooms in one section. Then downstairs there is another bedroom that has the mezzanine. It was a great stay, would highly recommend.

Bonjour, Nous tenions à vous remercier pour ce très beau séjour. Le gîte était vraiment très bien, propre, fonctionnel, tout était parfait ! Mis à part la pluie, nous avons eu tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Un grand merci également pour le petit rab de notre journée aujourd’hui, cela nous a permis de profiter encore un peu en famille, et c’était vraiment appréciable. Merci encore🙏🙏
