Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Bear Hug Retreat, our cozy 3 BR home set in the picturesque Colorado mountains in Forest Lakes north of Bayfield & east of Durango. George the Bear & his little buddy Sam will greet you on the large wrap-around porch with plenty of places to sit & enjoy the mountain air & beautiful views. Plenty of space for a group of friends/family to come together to play games or cook meals in our well-appointed kitchen. Close to many attractions like fishing, hiking, skiing, etc. It's the perfect getaway!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

This uniquely comfortable cabin is super cute and refreshingly FUN !!! With Vallecito Lake views and direct access, via a walk, off your own comfortable private deck. The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

Excellent hiking trails, biking trails, fishing within just a few minutes from the front door! 3 miles from Lemon Reservoir.

This gorgeous home has multiple floors of accommodations, and is the perfect place to get away and be in nature. This cabin boasts a three story floor plan, with a full bathroom on each floor (as well as a half bathroom on the main floor), a full sized bed in every room, and two large decks with plenty of space overlooking the lake. * SUV, truck or four-wheel-drive/all-wheel-drive suggested

This log cabin style house has great views with deck, hot tub, fenced in back yard, backyard chickens, and is walking distance to Lake Simpatico and two playgrounds for children. The location is great for those wanting to enjoy Durango (20 mi) and Pagosa (50 mi) . If you are into fishing, hiking, hunting, paddle boarding, etc. this spot is perfect (there are many lakes nearby). The house is also right between Purgatory Resort (one hour north) and Wolf Creek Ski Area (one hour south).

Bethany's Vallecito Lake Cabin #2

A cute cabin with an ideal location. It is easy to find, and it is just off the county road with plenty of parking space. Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can also enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter.

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.

Dog-friendly, up to 2 dogs welcome, $50 per pet fee, must be crated if left alone in the house. Please keep pets off of furniture and beds.
