Vacation rentals in Valleraugue, Val-d'Aigoual

We had a great 2 nights stay with Nickie and Yves in this lovely hamlet in the stunning Cevenne region. Nickie was so helpful with directions and gave us great advice on where to go for lunch and sight seeing. We had everything we could need and extra touches such as provision of fresh bread, butter, milk, orange juice and cream. There were also a selection of chutneys, jams and honey and herbs from the garden. We made some great sandwiches for picnics and our onward journey using all of these home produced items. Our dogs loved to explore the large garden and surrounding woods but best of all swimming in the river just across the road. There are great walks nearby and the drives along the corniche to beautiful villages and waterfalls are truly spectacular. The peace of the area and the non-commercialism is so refreshing. Nickie and Yves are perfect hosts, warm and welcoming but discreet as neighbours too. We only wish we could have stayed longer and will return in the summer months.

We are delighted to have stayed at Christelle's cottage. Everything was impeccable, communication with Christelle very fluid. Christelle was very accommodating. The place is very peaceful, and was exactly what we expected! We recommend Christelle's cottage and will be back with great pleasure.

Sylvie offers the perfect place for a quiet, cozy, comfortable stay - especially for nature lovers or those who love to explore the area and those seeking a peaceful retreat. The chalet is exactly as described. There are 2 other chalets close by, but plenty of trees and greenery to provide ample privacy. There is a nice sized garden & patio, perfect to rest after a day of hiking or being at a program at the nearby retreat center. This chalet has a sweet, charming feel and has just what you need - without the frills. I loved being here. Sylvie is a responsive, caring host! I will stay here again.

Very good impression, well-equipped and warm house. The residence located in a large park is quiet and friendly. Jérémie is keen to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic stay, too bad about the insects present but the host can't help it. Although it has a whole range of ready in the cottage to help the guests out of necessity! A fantastic host, always ready with advice and action and always quick to respond. For us, this was great!

We had a great weekend of family reunion. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a group, and the living room is very nice. Everyone noticed that the bedding was comfortable. And we really enjoyed the game room during this rainy weekend. Audrey and Jonathan are responsive and have taken great care to make sure everyone is settled in. In short, a great cottage for a family stay.

A little slice of paradise on the doorstep of a vibrant market town. The house was beautiful - spacious, well-equipped - in the most wonderful grounds with a glorious pool. We were a stone’s throw from the centre of town with incredible day and night markets, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and more. Chantal was a perfect host - calling to check we’d settled in - and Irina met us to handover keys and show us round. We’ve searched for almost two decades for the perfect place in France - we think we’ve just found it…

Very welcoming hosts, adorable little house in a small hamlet with a magnificent view of the mountains, walks to do nearby perfect for us who came with our dog. Pay attention only to hunting periods if you come with your animals (inquire about schedules ect..) but we did not have any problems.

Excellent communication with Muriel. Royal welcome by his father. Extremely pleasant accommodation, superbly equipped, very comfortable and spacious. The environment is very pleasant and we bathe in total calm. Exemplary clean. Good location to shine on the Cevennes. We had a memorable stay at Muriel's place, in all conviviality and in optimal conditions to make the most of our holiday. A must-see address. 🥰
