Vacation rentals with a kayak in Vänern

Wonderfully quietly located house with very well-equipped kitchen. From new dishes to good pots and pans to paper towels, spices and coffee, everything you needed was there. The fireplace with wood available was very nice in storm and rain! In sunshine, there was always a nice spot to be found around the house.

Jon was a fantastic host, who was always available for questions. He was very friendly and took fantastic care of us. The accommodation was in a great location, so we could enjoy the tranquility on the river. The facilities in the house left nothing to be desired. On the first day, Jon even brought us eggs, which we could then enjoy for breakfast every day. Jon also offered us the use of the canoes or fishing. All in all, the accommodation and Jon are fully recommended as a host. We would definitely come back !

Very idyllically located, clean and quiet accommodation, away from any stress. Check-in went smoothly and all questions that arose were answered quickly. Everything you need can be found after a 20-minute drive in Alingsas. We enjoyed it very much, thanks to Lotta and Hans!

The apartment is very spacious and cozy and offers plenty of space, also as far as the outdoor area is concerned. Lake (Sommen) access is very close within walking distance. At the private dock you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy. Highly recommend.

We had a short visit over the weekend at the place - which is in an absolute idyllic location - too short time to enjoy all the amazing things it has to offer. Host simply couldn’t be more helpful and pleasent, which made the stay an absolute blast. All facilities are top notch, hosts involvement incredibly professional, which made our experience one to desire repeating. The house has a beautiful view of the lake. The equipment is also high quality with Apple TV + projector, a good kitchen, etc. I can only recommend it :)

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Unique location by a beautiful lake, modern really nice cabin that had everything you could want and then some. Clear and easy instructions on everything you need. We are more than happy to return here. Maria as a host responds quickly, is very nice and helpful. Recommenders highly!

Niklas and his wife have created a beautiful vacation home furnished with a lot of love for detail! There is nothing missing in the accommodation, Niklas was always available for questions. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken upon our arrival. Niklas quickly installed his own device with us. We will be happy to come back.

The house feels like a tree house overlooking a beautiful lake. The location feels very private even if the house is connected to other houses. Loved the nice but simple decor. Above all, I enjoyed burning in the fireplace as it rained the day I was there. The best of all was still the hostess Sanna who responded quickly to all my questions, guided me to everything interesting and fun to experience in my surroundings, and helped me have a super cozy stay despite bad weather. Couldn't have had a better time!!

We had an amazing few days in this cabin in August 2024. It is such a beautiful location and so peaceful. The cabin is extremely well equipped and clean. The lake was warm to swim in and easy to navigate on rowing boat and Canadian canoe. Anders was super helpful when we messaged (e.g. He has 2 canoes that can be rented). If you want a quiet holiday this is a great spot to go to!

Cottage Gwen is equipped with all comforts, everything has been thought of. Nicely decorated and clean! There is plenty to do outside for children: large trampoline, hammock, toys and of course the canoes! The lake is really close by, you can also swim there. Inside, there is also plenty of entertainment for games and toys. The area is quiet and you can walk nearby nicely. Great place!

Great cozy cabin, beautiful environment and nice host, he went and bought grill cabbage for the grill so we didn't have to, really nice. The fireplace was lit and the house lit when we arrived. Great cozy weekend!

We (2adults with kids 8 and 5 years old) spent one week in this cozy cottage. We had such a great time full of peace joy and happiness. If you like to enjoy the Sweden nature on its best you need to stay at this beautiful place. The included canoe and outdoor kitchen were absolutely highlights. The lake is not that much good for a fishing trip cause it seems to be empty of fish. Unfortunately. But we saw a moose in the wild instead. The self check in was simple and all the other things you need to know how to use were unmistakeable declared. Thank you both for an unforgettable week

We had a lovely Easter break at this wonderful little cottage. We enjoyed the peace and silence, the surrounding beautiful forests, and the kids enjoyed a lot collecting the fresh eggs! Welcoming hosts, very recommended!

Airbnb Review: Ingeborg's Place, Norway Ingeborg's place was a perfect blend of Norwegian authenticity and modern comfort. We had everything we needed, from modern amenities like plenty of power sockets to the rustic charm of the space. The comfortable beds and cozy fireplaces made for a truly relaxing stay. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the middle of a forest by a lake. It was the perfect escape from city life. The thoughtful addition of sleeper shoes was a nice touch. We had an amazing time at Ingeborg's place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and unforgettable Norwegian experience.

The house was incredible! It was the Christmas time so we even had Christmas tree in the house and decorations. The house had everything we needed. Very clean and decorated very well. It was so cozy and we loved staying there. Madeleine was easy to communicate and even helped us when we couldn’t find the house. :) We would definitely consider coming back here. Very nice for a long weekend with some friends! It was our second stay at the hut and we enjoyed it even more than the first time.
