We had an amazing stay at this place! After visiting Kumarakom, we booked this as a stopover on our drive back to Bangalore, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The property is stunning, and our group of seven unanimously rated this stay better than our houseboat experience in Kumarakom. The caretaker, Titus, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and ensured all our needs were met. While the food could use some improvement, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We have no complaints and are already looking forward to visiting again!

La maison de Martin et un petit paradis calme au bord d’une rivière baignable et chaude. C’est l’endroit parfait pour déconnecter et se reposer. Martin vous aide pour commander à manger à la maison, donc vous n’êtes même pas obligés d’aller en ville pour dîner ou déjeuner. Il y a 2 chambres et salle de bain bien aménagés, puis un espace pour dormir à l’étage mais nous avons préféré dormir dehors à la belle étoile. Le jardin est parfaitement entretenu, et surtout… il n’y a pas de moustiques ! Allez-y les yeux fermés pour faire une pause de la ville.

Great place with nice interior

Extremely beautiful stay, nicely decorated, with lights. Wonderful access to the beach. Romantic beach chairs, pretty hammock and swing. The sea is visible from the bed too. The eating places are a little far from this location but it’s worth having the peace and quiet. The beach is also relatively secluded, and very clean and beautiful. House is kept clean. The caretaker is good. The breakfast was quite delayed on the first day as he brings it from far, it was also cold, maybe there was problem while bringing. Next day he gave us very tasty breakfast hot and on time.

Initially, we were planning to stay in Munnar, but after seeing the rates and reviews for your homestay, we decided to choose it—and it turned out to be a wonderful decision! The hospitality and care you provided were beyond exceptional. It’s hard to find the right word to describe how well we were treated—it was truly outstanding. One of the highlights of your stay was the PlayStation 5 with a variety of games and multiple controllers. It added so much fun to our evenings as we played with friends. Additionally, the large projection screen in the room, paired with high-speed Wi-Fi, allowed us to enjoy movies like we were in a personal theatre. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with soft cushions that ensured a perfect night’s sleep. Since it was New Year’s time, we wanted to celebrate by cooking and having a BBQ. We had a comfortable stay at HOME and kumily , and the best part is its proximity to major tourist locations, which made our travel very convenient. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a food processor, cooking utensils, water filter, and fridge — which made meal preparation easy and smooth. The two bedrooms we used were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. However, one of the rooms had been remodeled with a wooden partition, which we personally didn’t prefer, so we opted not to use it. The only concern during our stay was the lack of AC and ventilation. While the weather was cool enough to manage, we feel that installing an AC or enhancing ventilation could make the stay even more comfortable, especially during warmer months. That said, overall, the facilities were top-notch, and we appreciated the peaceful ambiance and accessibility of the property. We’ve left the used utensils behind for cleaning, as instructed. Der Service von Jithu und seiner Familie welche uns im Haus bedient haben war öusserst zuvorkommend und sie waren stehts für uns da. sie waren äusserst aufmerksam und haben unmittelbar unsere bedürfnisse sowie wünsche umgesetzt. Das Haus war etwas abgelegen, die Gegend ist aber wunderschön und mit einem Fahrer sind umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Der wunderschöne und gepflegte Garten war für uns die ideale Erholung. Sehr ruhige Nachbarschaft. Es war uns eine Freude an diesem Ort Beherbergt zu werden. Freundliche Grüsse Simon

We had such a great time! We were seriously pampered by the staff and all of our needs were met. Two comments— first, the pictures in the listing are from when the resort was new, so there was definitely wear and tear we weren’t expecting, but everything was still clean and maintained. Secondly, two of the rooms had electricity issues while we were there— the staff dealt with the issues but it was a persistent problem for a few days. Otherwise our stay was great and we would recommend!

Overall we had great experience. Caretaker was very courteous and ready to help all the time. Food service provided during our stay was spectacular. If you are going to Munnar I highly recommend to stay here. Access to property feels remote and challenging given small road but once you are in this place it feels like heaven.

Fantastic Property with Beautiful Views and Excellent Service! We had an amazing stay at this property! The outdoor spaces are massive, offering stunning backwater views, and the pool was perfect for relaxing. We also appreciated the availability of mountain bikes to explore the local area. The property is incredibly well-maintained, and cleanliness is a solid 10/10. A special mention to Sachu chettan, the caretaker, who was always available to assist us with anything we needed. He also makes the best chai, and we loved his warm hospitality. We were a family of five, including my parents, and we had a wonderful time. For food, Swiggy deliveries were a convenient option, and we also enjoyed the local homely meals available on-site. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-cared-for getaway!

The place had such a cool and calming vibe. The property is very spacious and the pool is a really good highlight. All the amenities were provided as stated. From the moment I walked in, I felt super relaxed. Was really a peaceful experience. The staff was friendly but gave us space to enjoy, which was nice. Definitely a spot I’d love to come back to when I need to unwind.

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in Kochi in der Unterkunft von Vineeth und konnten uns richtig entspannen. I stayed here for 15 days and had a great experience. The house was exactly like the photos, neat and clean. The location was convenient with markets nearby, and the place was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay overall. However, the only issue was with the househelp. We were told she would clean the house every other day, but during our 15-day stay, she came only 4 times.

My family of 16 with2 kids stayed at this place during our visit to Alleppey. This is a beautiful property just 5 minutes walk from the beach. The host Paulson was very helpful. The evening we reached, the local restaurants were not delivering food as there was horrible traffic because of a local music fest. We took Paulson's motorcycle to get food. My family absolutely loved the stay, kids enjoyed the badminton, cricket, carrom and card games a lot. The only suggestion I would give is to put gates for the small indoor pool. It's a risk for people staying with small kids.

To say that the Chittoor Palace stay was exceptional would be an understatement! We cannot recommend this place enough. The property is stunning, private, peaceful and FULL of character and heritage. It was the ideal place for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary and unwind. But what made the stay even more special was the service and care offered by Milton & team. They made sure we felt right at home and got a real taste of being royalties :)….they truly spoiled us with great hospitality, amazing food and so much warmth. We cannot wait to come back!!
