In the grounds of a turreted 15th century château - featured in a number of homes & interiors magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

L'Ecole Buissonnière (pool, air conditioning, parking)

In an old school, we installed a loft in the middle of Saumur. Overlooking a wooded courtyard, you can enjoy 3 bedrooms (2 adult bedrooms and 1 bedroom for 4 children), a large living room and a bathroom. You will also have access to an adjoining classroom in which we have created a 3 m x 3 m indoor pool, heated with counter-current swimming. You'll have the option to park 2 vehicles in the yard.

Semi-troglodyte gîte for 5 people near Saumur and Doué

You'll love my place because of the location and the ambiance. It is an old house made of tuffeau stone located in the heart of a troglodyte courtyard. The cottage has a fitted and very well-equipped kitchen but also an outdoor courtyard with terrace (barbecue, garden furniture, bikes available). My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends.

Between Chinon (7 km) and the Abbey of Fontevraud (12 km), on the sunny hillside of Seuilly, not far from the house of the fields of Rabelais "La Devinière", our Troglodyte (Gîte **) offers you an unusual accommodation for your vacation, unmatched during hot weather. Ideal home during a heat wave, about 20 degrees for sleeping!

At the confluence of the Loire and the Vienne, Clos Pommier is a haven of peace. This tastefully restored former tuf barn will seduce you with its enclosed garden, large living space on the ground floor, bathroom and three small adjoining attic bedrooms on the upper floor accessible by an external staircase.
