A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

It is possible to sleep 4 people if there are 2 children. It is only a few 100 meters to a very nice swimming spot in the Syrsan bay. There is exercise equipment, etc. Close to Västervik Loftahammar Vimmerby, Norrköping, Söderköping and Linköping You can get out into Tjust archipelago with boats from Västervik and Loftahammar It is about 65 km to Astrid Lindgren's World. Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Guests make their own beds. Of course, there is a TV, Wi-Fi, and a Bluetooth speaker. Bicycles are available to borrow, and it is only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the city centre. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.
