Olav the Holy lived 6 days on Listad in 1021 to prepare for a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the christianization of Norway. The water in the fountain is from "Olavskilden". Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There are a number of nice hiking trails near the cottage. A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only a 3 minute drive from the cabin. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

We rent our "Arctic Dome" which is located on our small farm next to our house. We overlook the valley (Gudbrandsdalen), overlooking the river and the Jotunheimen massif.
