Cottage in a quiet location in the terraced village of Vickleby on southern Öland. The cottage is 26 m2 with a sleeping loft of 10 m2, surrounded by a beautiful garden, built with different rooms separated by trellised pear trees and full of other fruit trees, vegetables and flowers. Vickleby is located in the World Heritage Site of Southern Öland's Agricultural Landscape, on the edge of Stora Alvaret, with its unique flora and two km away from the sea with swimming or windsurfing at Haga Park, or bird watching at Beijershamn. Five minutes walk to Capellagården.

In a lush garden surrounded by fruit trees and perennials lies this cottage that was once part of the Öland railway. Vickleby station, which is located on the same lot, is currently inhabited by a family with children. In the cottage there is a bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a sofa bed in the living room and a 120 cm bed in the loft. The kitchen has been newly renovated since 2023. Bathroom renovated in 2016.

Vickleby is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The well-preserved and picturesque village street is an attraction and is counted as one of the finest on Öland. The designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with an artistic focus. The facility is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a café and a shop with nice handicraft products and home-grown plants for sale. Vicklebyalvaret attracts many flower lovers. In May, a sea of orchids spreads out.
