The house is is settled at the edge of this picturesque village. Only few tourists find their way to Vila de Frades. Typical village life is still going on there undisturbed. Enjoy wine, cheese and chourico in small adegas and explore narrow roads.
“Wonderful experience !! The house is surprisingly spacious yet cozy. The patio facing the garden is fantastic, even in the cold of January you can enjoy the sun. In the evening, a delicious dinner overlooking a lit fireplace with holly firewood is the best way to end the day after a short walk through the friendly Vila de Frades.”
The House of the Malvas is a piece of Olympus in the middle of Alentejo, where you can hear the song of the water, listen to the trilogy of goldfinches and sparrows, feel the soft whistle of white storks and guess the fragrance of rosemary and mint, lavender and rose, in a mess of colors and species. In it an appetizing peace and a sweet well-being are fraternized.
“House very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need to cook, plus a 2-minute walk (without hurrying), there is the Pingo Doce store, and 3 minutes away, the Bom Dia Continent store. After 3 km there is a large Intermarché, with machines for washing clothes and you can also refuel the car. Very nice pool, very clean water and incredible transparency, really makes you want to swim !! It is a small town very famous for its olive oil, and with nice people. I thank D. Cristina who was very kind when we arrived to go around the house and give us the keys. I also thank o Sr. Joaquim who is always available 7 days a week on airbnb messaging, we can ask questions with the certainty of having an answer quickly. I recommend this accommodation to spend a beautiful holiday.”

“We really enjoyed our one night in Paulo’s home. He was s fantastic host and we would definitely go back. The house was spotlessly clean, had a lovely modern decor and he left us a lovely bottle of the regional wine to enjoy. The house is in a perfect location for visiting the local tourist sites, vineyards and the marina Ameida is not far. Paulo was also a great communicator before and during our visit.”
