Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand pier! Bua is a pleasant little cabin located at Hvaler's perhaps most charming marina. It's quiet and peaceful here, and at the same time you get a taste of boating life. The boathouse is adjacent to the boat jetties, so you can expect to encounter people vacationing on their boats. There are swimming facilities on site, with a bathing ladder at the end of the boat jetty. The surroundings consist of lots of beautiful nature with forests, trails and mountains. The house is located 40 meters from the sea and offers a stunning view of Vestfold. Here you can enjoy a hot tub, barbecuing with a gas grill, a covered seating area, and some amazing sunsets. It's about a 2-minute walk down to the beach, where you can swim, dive, and jump off the jetty, or enjoy a long, beautiful sandbar that the kids love. Inside, there are most of the amenities, and the view of the fjord is just as good from the sofa. The house is located near the end of a dead-end road.

You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.
