Welcome to idyllic Vikerfjell! A unique year-round area with great cross-country trails in winter and marked hiking trails, fishing waters and swimming both on sandy beaches and in mountain lakes in summer. The cabin is located in a remote location. It has panoramic views, a sunny terrace and a fire pit. Here, both small and large groups can gather to go on long walks, enjoy the mountain silence, barbecue outside, sit in the sun, see the starry sky without light pollution, make good food together or just enjoy the tranquility in front of the fireplace.

This charming cottage offers the perfect balance between rustic tranquility and outdoor adventures. Only 30 meters from parking and ski/hiking trails! In summer, you fall asleep to the sound of a rushing mountain river next to the cabin. Enjoy great hikes in lush nature or enjoy picnics and swimming along the river bank. When the snow falls, the cabin is transformed into a real ski in/ski out paradise with slopes 30 meters from the door! Vikerfjell is known for fantastic cross-country skiing, with well-prepared slopes through great mountain scenery.

Perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet, or as a starting point for great excursions regardless of the season. 7 min to Norway's most beautiful golf course and the same distance to Aurdalsåsen with alpine facilities and fantastic ski slopes. One hour from Jotunheimen with 255 of Norway's 300 mountain peaks over 2000 meters. And if you want urban city life, it is fifteen minutes to drive to the charming village of Fagernes. Shop, restaurant and bakery within walking distance.

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Our country house is easy to reach by the main road between Bergen and Oslo. Only one hour drive from Oslo and from Oslo airport Gardermoen. You'll love the place in quiet surroundings and wild nature, the view, the large outdoor areas with direct access to the river. Two canoes & one boat included, ready for taking you out for fishing or just for an adventure up the river. An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

Drive for half an hour to Bjørneparken or downhill skiing at Høgevarde or Turufjell. Enjoy the afternoon sun, light up the fire pan and enjoy the beautiful views. Free fiber internet, WiFi and TV. Moderne og stemningsfull hytte fra 2019 ved idylliske Killingtjern på Vikerfjell. Hytta har lekkert kjøkken, varmekabler, stor stue med peis og panoramavinduer mot naturen. To soverom og loftstue gir plass til opptil 11 personer. Ute finner du stor terrasse med sittegruppe og bålpanne – perfekt for rolige kvelder under stjernene. Kort vei til vann, turstier og langrennsløyper. Et sted for både ro og aktivitet, sommer som vinter. Kjapp internett gjør det også mulig med en uke på «hyttekontor»!

In a quiet location in the mountains, but 15 minutes from the E16, is our apartment. It is located above our garage, with its own entrance and lots of privacy. The open living room/kitchen has a beautiful view over the Vassfaret mountains.
