This is a former cabinetmaker's shop, completely renovated with excellent service. Mont Saint-Michel, Saint Malo, Cancale, Dinard and Dinan are about 20 minutes from this picturesque little town. You will enjoy the shops on the main street, the diverse Saturday morning market and the breathtaking view of Mont-Dol over the bay of Mont Saint-Michel.

Built sometime in 1800 on the edge of the small village of Vieux-Viel in Brittany, this wonderful old schoolhouse stands in a large garden, surrounded by nature in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel / Emerald Coast. Located within walking distance to Gavray, you will enjoy this small town full of unique shops(3 bakeries, 2 grocery stores, 1 butcher, gas station, restaurants…) and its Saturday’s farmers market. Gavray is well centralized. The Mont Saint Michel is about 45 minutes away, the D day beaches are about 1 hour away and Granville is 20 minutes away.

Local attractions, such as beaches and hiking trails, are easily accessible for days full of discoveries.

Enjoy a bright, detached townhouse with the option to park a vehicle in front of the house or in the nearby parking lot. All shops within walking distance (bakeries, butchers, tobacconists, grocery stores... see my guide), bus and SNCF train station. Very well equipped accommodation. Flexible hours only upon request except Sundays. Requests for refunds for off-price cancellations are no longer negotiable.

The Firs

A renovated old cider barn, with plenty of original character beams. A cosy lounge and well equipped kitchen are found on the ground floor. Access to the first floor is up a spiral stair case, leading to a large open bedroom and bathroom, plus a separate Sipper bath located on a small mezzanine.
