Beautiful house, very well decorated, with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The house is huge, warm but fresh decor inside, many rooms, living rooms, terraces, and a dream garden. The owners were very friendly and friendly in the reception, as well as discreet and helpful during our stay. We 100% recommend this property

The apartment is beautiful and functional. All rooms have TV and private bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary for cooking and everything was clean and in good condition. Even with bad weather, we spent very pleasant days. Thank you so much for welcoming us with our kitty!

Casinha da Carreira was as cosy as Maria João 's welcome. Sparkly clean and incredibly fun to inhabit due to the 3 floor plan and staircase (have 2 girls, consensus is that the whole thing was a really fun playground). Despite being a small place it is remarkable how much you can have amenities-wise. Having traveled with our dog, host was very understanding and made us feel very comfortable having our pet staying with us. The context is also worthy of mention. Despite being small the village of Santar has many places worthy to visit and long walks are recommended. Think deep rural Portugal, an area that used to be the home to rural nobility, with vast vineyards in one of the most interesting wine regions in the country. Am partial because Dão produces some of my favorite wines but I think this is a very interesting place for wine enthusiasts to visit. One of the best Airbnb experiences in quite a while, Maria João knows what she's doing. You won' regret staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was impeccably neat and clean, making it a truly comfortable experience. I loved the artistic design throughout the space—it added a unique charm that made the stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was lovely, with a great atmosphere that made exploring a delight. We absolutely loved this stay and if you're anywhere in the area it is highly recommended. The home is so cozy and once the fire is roaring its incredible. The surrounding area is gorgeous and completely quiet and tranquil. We loved it so much that when we wanted to extend our stay and Christians house wasn't available we found a similar home in the village and moved over. Personally I could spend a week here. If you'd like to cook meals at the house the kitchen is very well equipped and there is a little market nearby with everything you need. The bed was super cozy as well and the shower was so nice and warm. 15 out of 10!

We absolutely fell in love with this place. If you’re looking for stunning scenery in a quiet, peaceful village, this place is for you. No services so plan ahead. Highly recommend. One of our favourite locations to date. And thank you Joao for being so responsive and flexible.

A beautiful house in a great location with a wonderful view from the terrace, with a very nice natural pool, but a bit cold because of the constantly fresh water. The neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming. We were a bit unlucky because of the wildfires. So we had to leave 2 days early to be sure to get to the airport and catch our plane. Irene was very friendly and open hearted and took great care of the house and pool. We can fully recommend this villa.
