In addition, there are a number of downhill ski slopes and cross-country ski trails available in winter. By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

The lovingly designed 120 square meters offer lots of space (max. 6 people) for a relaxing holiday, also with dog (max. 2). The big treasure of the house is the conservatory with fireplace.

The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A table tennis table, a kicker and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

The 37 m² one-room apartment is located on the first floor of a farmhouse in the village center of Marburg-Hermershausen and is accessible through the shared staircase. Real wood parquet, tiled floor as well as a solid wood kitchen, solid wood furniture and natural textiles invite you to feel good. The spacious bathroom has a floor-level shower, the kitchen offers a double-burner ceramic hob, microwave and exhaust hood. Wi-Fi is available. If necessary, a washing machine can also be used.

Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

In the garden, a cozy sauna with pool can be used. Children can and are allowed to live out their natural urge to move and play. Parents, of course, too. Alternatively, relaxing walks or excursions (e.g. canoe trips on the Lahn) are possible. The university town of Gießen is around the corner!

In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

At the foot of the Frauenberg, directly on the Fulda river, we rent a holiday apartment renovated in 2021 in our historic watermill with up to four sleeping options in two separate bedrooms. Located on the outskirts of Fuldas, the city center can be reached on foot (about 20 minutes) or by bike. Our large yard also offers free parking. Shopping can be reached in two minutes on foot. Two lively, friendly dogs live on the farm.
