Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

On our farm outside Sävsjö in Småland, you can stay in a modern timber house built of 300 logs of stormwood, which was also sufficient for a timber sauna. The holiday home has salmon knots and between the logs there is flax. The house is located in scenic surroundings. We live close to our animals and you have the opportunity to do so. Relax at our family-friendly house from the year 1850 and feel the serenity. Lovely garden to stay in. There are general large green areas about 100 meters from the house with a nature playground. (the parish cottage) See map what you can discover in the nearby area. About 5 minutes walk to nice view of the village. Barbecue/coffee place You can easily get by car/bike to the swimming area and nature reserve. Close to Hook's spa and golf course. 20 min to Jönköping, Huskvarna, Vaggeryd and Nässjö.

Tranquil, renovated cottage in Småland

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

Idyllic cottage, 30 sq m, on a private beach, very clear lake water, close to the highway E4 and Gränna. Thirty minutes from Jönköping. One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.
