High in the north, located on the Schlei and only minutes away from Schlei or Baltic Sea beach, the municipality of Rieseby forms the center of the Schwansen peninsula. Eckernförde and Kappeln are each just 15 km away, to the Baltic Sea beach it is 3 km, the Baltic Sea resort of Damp, with numerous leisure activities, 7 km.
