The house is large and cozy. It was also clean and in order. We found the beds very cozy and there are mosquito repellent nets both upstairs and downstairs. What we still lacked in the description or in pictures is the information about the stairs. It's winding, steep, and has narrow steps. It was a small challenge for us as two of us have knee problems. But it was still good and overall we loved it.

It is a lovely cottage, full of comforts. Quiet park.

The bungalow is in a quiet location and has a large fenced garden, which makes it perfect for families with children and dogs. It offers everything you need. Roberto was very helpful and easily accessible. We will be happy to come back

Great location but you do need your own car to travel around. 15-minute walk to the center. The house is big and spacious. You will have everything you will need, complete amenities. They even have some board games. The only thing is walls are a bit thin so you can hear even the faintest noise next room. Also, the toilet is a separate room from the shower. It’s very tranquil and relaxed there. I do recommend it. :)

A beautiful house in a nice and quiet environment. Plenty of space in and around the house. Three large bedrooms. The kitchen has every comfort and plenty of crockery, pans and cutlery. Lovely sofas and also the chairs around the dining table are great. A tip: maybe dimmable lamps or a little earlier atmosphere in the seating area. Maybe an artificial plants. But for the rest really great!

This house is very cozy and totally lovingly furnished. It is located on a private property and is not passable by a barrier for strangers. The house itself has been embellished with attention to detail and is totally cozy. A large and beautiful garden is there. Unfortunately, we were unable to use it due to the weather. Everything was clean upon arrival and we were able to relax very well. However, you have to be mobile by car or bike. Because the house is a little off the beaten path. You can visit Harlingen in a few minutes. That's where we found it very nice. Franeker also offers shopping opportunities and walking routes. We can highly recommend this house and praise the good equipment of everyday objects. Children's toys are also available. Simply everything is great. Thank you for that

The stay at Carmens Charlet was really great. It is in a beautiful, quiet area where you can really relax. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails. The city of Leeuwarden is also only a few minutes away by car. There are great restaurants and lots of shopping. We highly recommend Carmen's Charlet! Carmen is very friendly and you have always received a quick response. The Charlet was also very clean and very comfortably furnished. It is also great for stays with a dog, as the garden is completely fenced. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay here! Very cozy cottage in a nice quiet area. Communication with Gertrud was very nice. We've had a lot to do with her tips! Highly recommended!

Very spacious house, nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. Perfect for multiple families with kids.

We stayed here for 4 days and felt very comfortable. Caroline and Jan are very nice and helpful and the house is beautiful and very cozy, especially the sun rays give a very great light through the old windows. You can also sit comfortably in the quiet garden, enjoy the sun in the morning and listen to the birds and bumblebees. My dog Murphy also felt at home! Which is also very special: there was even food to bridge the first afternoon! Thanks so much for the great break!

Very nice house with a nice enclosed garden. Ideal for a stay with toddler. The house has everything for both large and small. Nice decor, playground nearby. Frans, the neighbor, is a very nice host.

We had a great stay! It was a really nice place, very quiet and perfect for our family! It was super clean and tidy and well equipped. The communication was flawless and we always got a very quick response. We are already planning our next trip to this accommodation :) really recommended!

We were with family, a total of 18 people and 2 young children. The house (2 combined houses with large connecting door) was great. Upon arrival, the house was already nicely heated. Walking in the area is fine, only the route through the meadows was, due to morselessness, not really passable. The en-suites at the bedrooms on the 2nd floor do not have their own toilet. However, there is a toilet on each floor. The bedrooms are sufficiently spacious, some very spacious. Auke and Gerdi are friendly people who respond quickly to calls or text messages. Everything was clean and complete. We'd love to come back to the next family desert.

We had a very nice weekend here with a group of 10! The house was nice and spacious and it was in a very nice location overlooking a vast meadow. The house is secluded but by car you are in no time in places such as Leeuwarden. The fact that it was so remote had its charm. There was also a bouncy cushion, playground equipment and football field on the property.

We had a very nice week in this cottage. Upon arrival we received a very nice package with things from Friesland. The garden was really fantastic for the dogs and you could sit outside. The cottage had anything you need. We would love to come back!
