“If you are looking to just straight kick back and enjoy being in the serenity of nature then this is your place. The property the cabin is on is just wonderful, and if you are reading the other reviews and see the one that getting to the cabin was impossible then just ignore that. The only reason you could have trouble getting there is if you were driving a Lamborghini, which if you were You are probably not staying here hah. Water levels were low so we did have some electrical issues but sorted them out in the end.”
Our home is nestled on the hill overlooking Whangapoua Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The views are amazing! The cabin is adjacent to our home and has its own shower and toilet. It’s basic but humble and cosy! The ‘outdoor kitchen’ is covered and has everything you need to prepare a meal or breakfast (including a small oven, BBQ and fridge). Iit so you can enjoy the great outdoor life style but be sheltered while enjoying the ocean outlook. The cabin is great for couples and solo adventurers.
“We really enjoyed our stay at the Humble Cabin which overlooks the beautiful in Whangapoua. The views of the South Pacific Ocean are awesome particularly when enjoying breakfast in the semi-outdoor huge kitchen. The cabin was very thoughtfully designed to include a compact sink, shower and toilet. The bed is queen size and extremely comfortable. The kitchen has nice refrigerator, portable oven, grill and cutlery. The property sits high above the beach and it’s a few minute drive to the beach or a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk. Michele and Lance or charming couple and can offer helpful advice for enjoying and exploring Whangapoua.”

“Arapito is absolutely stunning. Such a treat to fall asleep and wake up with the birds singing and the waves crashing on the beach. Very peaceful with wonderful amenities and gracious, accommodating hosts. I hope to make it back to such a magical part of the world again someday.”
