“This was an absolutely perfect, cozy cabin, so close to the lake! The setting was picturesque with the leaves all changing for fall. We have seen countless sunsets at the beaches at our home in Florida, but the sunsets over the lake were unbelievable! We were thrilled that the cabin was so close that we could see them every evening. Everything we needed was there, and most things we could want were there as well. We loved having access to a fire pit, especially on the cool fall nights. The grill was a great amenity and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful weather while cooking. All my questions were answered quickly and I was not left with any questions or uncertainties when we arrived. It was a wonderful place to spend time with our family. We hope to stay there again in the future. The only downfall was that we had to leave so soon.”
This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV but no wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.
“Book this cabin! Such a beautiful way to reconnect and unplug! Every inch of this cabin had a special little detail and decoration. The ambience at night in the hot tub suite was unbelievable! We saw a bald eagle fly and land right outside our deck, deer running through the woods, and an owl hooted for us every evening. What a breath of fresh air it was to get out and away! We enjoyed the walking trail around the cabin and we made a bonfire in the amazing outside fireplace. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was spotless! Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy home away from home!Kerri and family, thank you for sharing your family treasure with us! We will be back!♡”
On the Farm B&B's cabin sets river front on 124 acres. It is perfect for a weekend get-away. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck over looking the river or on the screen porch. There are beautiful views from each room of the home.
“This place was so far beyond our expectations. The cabin itself is adorable with high end appliances and so many little caring touches. The farm is enormous, it is a private setting with around a hundred animals; sheep, horses, mini horses, goats, cows, a llama, and chickens. But they aren't just there to look at. Pam gave us a huge bucket of feed and encouraged us to interact with the animals. They are friendly and love being around humans. We spent a lot of time in the field with them. There was a newborn lamb with injured legs that we bottled fed, we got the eggs from the chickens to eat, our dogs ran free and happy. My children did the same. A river runs directly behind the house and there is a private beach you can walk to. Honestly, I cannot say enough positive things about this place. We were sad to leave, but we will definitely be back.”
