Cabin vacation rentals in Wappapello

This cabin is definitely in my top 5 of all time cabins. We typically rent 5-10 cabins a year and this one is rated a 10 . Perfectly small for a romantic getaway with every amenity you would need . They thought of everything . We really enjoyed the stay and will be back when it gets a little hotter so we can enjoy the beach.

The weekend we went had more rain then they had ever had, causing roads to be flood or washed out and closed from the flash floods- all which was beyond their control. While on the road leading to the cabin, we came to spot that appeared to be washed out and were hesitant to continue forward. We then saw headlights coming down the drive and was greeted by a nice young man who helped us to continue to the cabin. The electric was also out (again not their fault) due to the storm and we were provided with extra flash lights and water. Any concerns we had were quickly responded to and the cabin was beautiful, clean and just perfect. The electric came back on the following afternoon and although the main road out was closed (flash flooding) it was reopened by check out, again all of this beyond their control. I would absolutely recommend this place for a quiet romantic getaway or a family vacation. They have cabins and other housing of all size to accommodate everyone

We were looking for a quiet getaway and this is exactly what we needed. Very private and beautiful views of the black river. House was beautiful and well equipped with whatever you needed.

Brad was super friendly and very responsive and helpful! The place was amazing super clean and comfortable definitely will be going back!

Our family had a very fun Easter weekend at this quiet cozy cabin. The weather did not cooperate but that did not stop us thanks to the many amenities. We tried two of the recommended restaurants as well and they were excellent.

Cold air!!! Comfortable bedding and washer and dryer a plus! Great activities for kids , lots to do!

If you are seeking peace and a quiet surroundings, this is the place to stay. There are lakes and lots of areas to hike. The kitchen is stocked with the equipment for some serious cooking and there is a grill and a firepit outside. The internet service is fast, the cable service has plenty to watch and the cabin is stocked with board games. If you are looking for lots of restaurants and high end grocery stores, this is probably not the best area for you.

AWESOME people and place, some of the amenities weren’t ready to use but as far as the cabin that you stay in and the owners were incredible! Great location if you’re doing anything in Advance. They went the extra mile to accommodate traveling duck hunters. Will definitely stay again when I’m in Advance!

The panther den was very well discribe with extra little touches that weren’t expected! Jeff made it easy to communicate. He gave us a list of things to do and did tell us that most dining and shopping would be a little drive. Nothing to complain about! I hope others decide to come stay at Jeff’s panther den!

Elisa was phenomenal the whole time! This place is a perfect get away for 2 or 10! She was on top of any needs throughout our stay and communication is the best! She sent us on multiple local state parks and they were just as described. Everything was clean and neat and the screened in porch was perfect for the hot Missouri summer days. I will be staying here again as soon as I can! Thank you so much for all of your hospitality!

We wanted a place close to family, found it, only problem was you could hear the big trucks go by at 4 in the morning. And my dog did not like the floor, to slippery, so we went and bought a couple of runner rugs so he could move around. Other than that all was good. We never went fishing nor into the game room, to busy visiting family. Only slept and used washer and dryer. Next time we will bring fishing poles and something to cook out with on grill. Recommend Kim

We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is that it stated that it sleeps 10. I would say that it comfortably sleeps no more than 8. Other than that, everything was clean and well kept. Would stay again. Thanks again.

Beautiful property walking distance to the river. House comes with everything you need for a Perfect weekend getaway for a couple or a great spot for a few family and friends. a beautiful firepit area that's facing the woods. Host are great people! We will definitely be back 🥰

This was the absolutely perfect spot to view the eclipse in totality for four awesome minutes. Beyond those few minutes, it was also a nice place to relax after a 12 hour journey to get there! There’s a beautiful, picturesque lake right at our back door, a nice covered deck to sit out on, and plenty of geese to watch frolicking about. There was a grill and a picnic table. Right across the street was a nice walking path. There was a bit of street traffic noise and spotty internet and cell service, but that could be from all the increase in traffic to the area for the big event. Very friendly hosts made it super easy to check in and out.

Steve was very helpful, courteous, and commutative. We were happy that there was no cleaning fee as long as we left the place in the condition that we found it. It was a great setup for a weekend away.

Very comfortable and relaxing. Ideal private getaway. Primary bed was very comfortable, woke up relaxed and more rested than normally. Large Blackstone gas grill was awesome. Outside fireplace was wonderful- stocked with wood. Back deck had several seating options to enjoy watching the river. Heated bathroom floors were a great addition. Sunken tub was easily large enough for 2. Upstairs shower had double shower heads but did not get chance to use it. Kitchen was well appointed with a great variety of spices.
