Benson and Fred were both welcoming and friendly. They helped organize a trip to a nearby island, accommodating our schedule to ensure we didn’t miss our flight. They also proactively arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. The local food including catch of the day fish and fresh fruits were a delightful treat. The area is calm and peaceful. It was my second time staying at the eco camp and we enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

I really loved staying in my little cottage. I had the 'Laser' cottage and it was fantastic. Tons of privacy and very comfortable, clean and well kept. Hot water, a ceiling and stand-alone fan, daily cleaning and turn-down, right on the beach. I could have stayed here for months. The only negative was that there was some construction going on right behind the cottage so I would recommend checking to ensure this has been completed as it did take away from the 'peaceful' environment it had the potential of being. But other than that it was perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the kitchen staff work hard without any complaints. It was genuinely the perfect tranquil Kenyan coastal getaway. 5 stars.

Sunset Lab was just perfect. Right on the beach, yet very private with the garden and restaurant to hide behind. The rooms was comfortable and spacious with mozi nets and plenty of cupboard space. Mateo was extremely friendly and helpful. His pizzas are the best I have ever eaten. Proper Italian pizza. A perfect spot to watch the sun go down with a margarita drink and margarita pizza! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying again when Mateo has put in the pool!

"Pola and Alex's BnB exceeded all my expectations! The place boasts stylish, modern furnishings that create a cozy yet chic ambiance. Every morning, I was treated to an amazing breakfast spread, masterfully prepared by their in-house chef. The flavors and variety were exceptional. What's more, the location is perfect — it's very close to the beach and just a short walk to the town center. Despite its proximity to these attractions, the BnB maintains a tranquil atmosphere; I appreciated the quiet nights. Another highlight was the absence of mosquitoes in the room, a common nuisance in beach areas. The fast internet was a boon for both leisure and work. A standout feature of this BnB is the on-site spa. I indulged in daily massages and facials, which were incredibly rejuvenating. This added luxury truly made my stay special. I wholeheartedly recommend Pola and Alex's place for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, luxury, and convenience. A truly memorable stay!"

Great value for money! Beautiful complex with lots of common areas (rooftop; restaurant, pool, diving center, kite school, sunbeds/hammac, massage) with direct access to the most beautiful beach in Watamu. The food was great and breakfast included! The A/C was working properly. Everything was great! We'll be back!

female traveller1st time Kenya. felt totally safe at Andrews villa and in the area. Andrew was welcoming arranged for me to picked up from Mombassa airport safe friendly driver Harman. airline lost my luggage 4 days! Andrew kindly brought me 2 pairs of shorts. all staff are lovely, friendly all men apart from Zawadi cleaner I felt totally safe. room lovely clean 5 min to beech/restaurant. I had meals at villa too Farim is an amazing friendly chef caters to your needs goes above&beyond. security Kazungu friendly and put me at ease. gambo my motorbike driver always available to pick me up or take me where I want. took me to Gede ruins , Malandi etc. all staff lovely safe quiet area (I here low season). 1 issue hotwater not connected to room Andrew going to sort and no Wi-Fi, data expensive keep in touch with family however don't let this put you off highly recommend Andrews Villa. Asante Sana for welcoming me.

We loved our stay at Sunset Lab, it was a really nice vibe with only 5 rooms allowing you lots of space and freedom. The rooms were perfectly spacious, cleaned daily and had great outdoor areas where you can chill. The pizzas were 10/10 along with the cocktails. Highly recommend and great value for money!

Great place for a relaxing holiday with a pleasant twist in Watamu Tamu! I chose to stay at Matteo’s for the proximity to the beach and the beautiful gardens. Indeed the place is amazing and super close to the beach! Private umbrellas and sun beds allow you to enjoy a full day next to the sea carefree! There is a bar/restaurant with great sea views ideal for romantic sunsets! It offers a variety of drinks and mostly Italian cuisine - pizza is a must! Great music too! Friday evenings can be busy as the management organises parties and music events so be ready for dancing! There are many tourist shops and clubs around while you can take a 3 min ride to the nearest malls (pharmacies, supermarkets etc) in Watamu! Matteo and his team are very friendly, positive and very helpful. Highly recommended and definitely coming back ;)
