A stone's throw (12km) from Amsterdam, in the middle of the historic center of Monnickendam, lies this comfortable cottage for 3 people with a private entrance, no private garden. Shops, restaurants, terraces and the IJsselmeer are within walking distance. Amsterdam, Volendam and Marken are within cycling distance. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven/microwave, refrigerator, 4-burner. Bedroom with a double and a single bed. Shower, toilet and sink, heating, WiFi, television.

Cosy 2-bedroom appartment for couple with kids

This lovely non-smoking family private appartment in a quiet neighbourhood is ideal for a couple plus kids. We don’t rent this appartment to friend groups as it is more suitable for families (double bed & bunk bed). It offers a great base for seeing Amsterdam (15 min. by bus/metro) and the rest of The Netherlands. Situated on a city park in a trendy residential neigborhood (former shipyard area Nieuwendam) it sleeps 4 + a baby in 2 bedrooms. All private no shared spaces.

In the old centre of characteristic and unique Broek in Waterland in a barn rebuilt in 2017 behind the farm. Entire private home with access (self check-in). Split-level with private garden. Downstairs (24 m2) is the living room with sofa, mini kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom and toilet. On the loft is the bedroom with double bed, plenty of closet space, hanging and laying. Wi-Fi available. There are two bicycles (Veloretti) for rent, 10 per bicycle per day.

Studio on houseboat on the outskirts of Amsterdam

Are you tired of the city? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would like to welcome you to my unique location in the middle of the countryside of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. The ferry is, by the way, private property, and is only used by my guests.

Entire Uitdam front house

Watch the sun rise over the lake during a refreshing morning dip, and set over the vast meadows with a crackling fire. New front house on the Zeedijk in Uitdam with a view of the Markermeer and a garden with a view over the meadows. Suitable for 2 adults and two (young) children. The beautiful Uitdam is a stone's throw from Amsterdam (20 minutes). Alternate a visit to the city with activities in nature such as hiking, cycling and water sports.

Lovely Suite near Amsterdam

Lovely suite in the historic center of Monnickendam. Nice terraces, good restaurants and beautiful nature. Within 20 minutes you are in the center of Amsterdam. You can buy the tickets at the VVV (2 minutes from the cottage) Also the Zaanseschans, Volendam and Marken can be reached within 20 minutes. The VVV, baker and the butcher are around the corner and by bike (you can use ours, we have two) you can cycle through the unique environment.

The Practice

A wonderfully luxurious accommodation with all the comforts, in the beautiful rural village of Broek in Waterland. 20 minutes away from Amsterdam Center. It is a 5-minute walk to the bus that runs directly to Amsterdam Central Station. It is entirely private with all-round terrace and a nice garden with three places to sit. Fenced around and lockable with a nice gate. The house is not suitable for little children.

Scenic stay near Amsterdam

Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay just a 15 minute drive away from Amsterdam city centre. Have a quiet morning coffee on the sunny deck before exploring everything Amsterdam has to offer. A bus taking you directly to Amsterdam metrostation Noord is situated at a 7 min walking distance. Or rent bikes and enjoy a beautiful bike ride into town. The apartment has a queen sized bed. A baby bed can also be provided.

Cozy apartment only 12 minutes away from Amsterdam. Good equiped kitchen, stylish lounge, new bathroom and comfortable bed (1.40m x 2.00m) The apartment has its own entrance. The backyard is shared with me and my family. From our place it is 200 meters walking to the bus stop which takes you in 12 minutes to the heart of Amsterdam or in 8 minutes to Purmerend another lovely Dutch city.
