Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Welshpool

Just got home after 3 nights in Iwans place in Bala. This place is spotlessly clean, beautiful inside from top to bottom. The four kids loved the outdoor space for playing and they loved the hot tub too. Bala is a beautiful town with lots of options for eating out, take aways and has a couple of fresh bakery’s. Centrally located in north wales with LOTS to do for all ages around the area. We got the small steam train, went white water rafting both within minutes drive from here. Can’t recommend this place enough, we will be back thanks Iwan

A stones throw from the beach, restaurants & cafes. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was for the time of the year. First time to Wales, stunning scenery and beaches. Recommend train journeys again amazing views…mountains/hills one side and beach on the other. The property had everything we needed. The door height into the main bedroom must be for a 5ft 6 person, my husband hit his head several times. The double bed must be quite a small double bed, if you are again above 5ft 6 you may struggle. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. Aberdovey we will be back.

We had a lovely stay in Shrewsbury. The house was clean and full of everything you might need. Any questions and queries I had before the trip were answered promptly. The location was great. It was really easy to walk into the centre of town.

This house was absolutely charming. At the end of our trip, in which we did & saw lots of things of cool things, we asked our kids their highlights - and one mentioned the house first!! That was kind of funny - who would've thought they'd pay much attention to that - esp over a castle exploration?! Another even wanted to leave the beach early to go back & play games at the house. They loved chilling in front of the fireplace with some of the many thoughtfully provided games. Helen was very responsive and friendly and even offered for the kids to feed the chickens (which we unfortunately weren't able to do) - though the yummy smells coming from their cooking in their apartment were tempting. ;) The driveway is a bit tricky for - ahem - people like me who aren't great parkers and crumble under the pressure of someone waiting to get around me (nailed it in a mere three attempts ;), versus my husband's one shot), but I am a notoriously bad parker. Overall lovely place w/lovely hosts!

Great location for exploring beautiful mid Wales. Pool table and hot tub great additions. Layout of tall, narrow property takes some getting used to but actually works very well — everyone either in pool/dining room or living room or hot tub, so options for a large group. We were 12-13 people and that was roomy. NB I skipped this property in my initial search because it’s very odd to photograph the living spaces with people in them!!

A lovely little house tucked away in a quiet residential area but just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Ludlow. Very comfortable and well equipped with nice welcome gifts for us and the dogs! Enclosed garden with lawn which was ideal for dogs to lie in and for a drink in the sunshine! Ludlow itself was lovely and very dog friendly. Jackie’s communication wax excellent. Having parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the owlet. It is the most relaxing place, we loved going out on the paddle board and kayak and our boys enjoyed running around in the grass outside the dome. The space ourself was bigger than we expected and kitted out with everything you need. Sarah was super helpful and friendly. We'd recommend to anyone! Only downside is it's so booked up :) we hope to return next year.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

This is such a lovely pod with amazing view and everything we wanted for a little getaway break. Nick and Adriana have been really nice and helpful throughout our booking. We had a great stay and can’t wait to visit again!

Great value for a great place to stay. A short drive away from the busy centre of Llangollen so it was very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful welsh surroundings literally on the door step. Hosts were very friendly but as they’d organised the accommodation so well, we didn’t really need to bother them! The house has everything needed for a short stay to make our stay all the more convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends with their families! Diolch yn fawr

Everything about Jessica Hut is perfect for a true, unadulterated dose of nature and relaxation. The hut is super cosy with a comfy bed, and the out-building with toilet and kitchen has all you need. The privacy and peace that comes with this destination is second to none. If it's a down to earth, friendly, private, comfortable, rural escape you are after, look no further. What an incredible place! We had such a great little holiday with our neice and nephew. The cabin was homely, clean and in the most perfect location overlooking the Rhinogydd and Cadair Idris. It had everything we needed and was close to all the places we wanted to explore. The kids loved the park and it was very quiet, tranquil and family friendly. The deck out the front was the perfect place to cool off in the summer heat and watch the stars at night. (We were extremely lucky with the weather). We would apsolutely return again in the future, we didnt want to leave! :) Thanks Rachel. Cannot recommend enough 😀

Sharon and David are such wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and such lovely people always willing to help. The cabin was beautiful and cosy with stunning views and lovely walks nearby. The property is perfect for a weekend away, being in a great location where you will not be disturbed, it was so peaceful and calming but also having Llangollen near by for various options for food and drink for a day out. Sharon and David also provided a list of endless activities and sights to see that are near by which was extremely helpful and they are definitely worth visiting! Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back again soon!

Lovely cottage, excellent location, walkable to pubs and places to eat and walks.

We had a delightful stay stay at the cottage, it exceeded all expectations and couldn't have been any more idyllic. From the moment we arrived the lovely host Ellie made us feel welcome with home made cupcakes and helping us after we were in a motor accident nearby, she saved our trip with a friend mechanic and couldn't have been any more accommodating throughout our stay. The cottage was beautiful, so cosy and the aga was on for our arrival. The entire place is full of Tudor charm, beautiful. The children also appreciated the toy box and Netflix. The surrounding gardens were like something out of a fairy tale and the children loved them, as well as the swings and and all the farm animals to watch. There ate several picturesque places to eat outside and little huts and mini buildings with seating. The surrounding countryside was stunning and it is conveniently located 3 miles from the pretty village of Tenbury Wells. We would recommend for a relaxing countryside break.

We stayed at the Paradise Cottage for two nights and were super happy with the information provided in advance and the communication before and during our stay there. The whole place was spotless clean and everything was as shown in the pictures and matched the description to our complete satisfaction. The beds (mattresses) were in perfect condition. In addition to that we had a rather late check-in and found a warm-hearted welcome and got help from the very nice owner. We would definitely recommend staying in this little paradise square:)

The Lodge is exactly described in the listing, the location is rural and very peaceful, it was great to be able to see the various animals around the farm, the local town has all of the necessary amenities and a great Restaurant at the Castle Hotel in Bishops Castle. I would definitely recommend this lodge and I'll definitely be back at some point in the future

The place was absolutely beautiful! We were on a road trip and stayed only for one night, however felt right at home. The valley, the tent, the host - absolutely worth the money you pay. We rested so well in this quest environment, just what we needed. Children had loads of space to explore and even spotted an owl! Thank you, Maria, we would recommend this place 100%
