Vacation rentals with lake access in West Virginia

We had a very nice time. The place was clean and the bed were comfortable. I stayed because I was visiting my grandma outside of Philippi, I grew up playing down at Audra park and you’re literally right next to the park in this house. I highly recommend and we will stay again.

We has an absolutely amazing time on the property! There was so much to do in and outside of the house. We loved the hiking trails, the stream for fishing and the animals to entertain the kids. There were so many different seating areas and the house has so many amenities. The house and property exceeded our expectations and give us the opportunity to unplug and have some much needed family time.

This house was even better than the pictures and description. It’s perfect for families especially with all the amenities for young children.

Home was clean and as described. It was large and roomy. Outside had a nice yard to play in. Harper’s Ferry town and the national historic park are amazing places to visit. Lots to do and see even in March. I would visit again and stay at this home again.

This house was accurately described and SO clean. All dishes in cabinets were clean and free of any crumbs, grease, etc. Fridge was spotless on arrival. Linens were clean fresh. And the amenities were perfect. Morgan was a fantastic and proactive communicator, answering specific questions about pan sizes and casserole dishes before arrival so we could be prepared for our recipes. The attention to detail is so appreciated. In addition, they carefully located a valuable left behind item—and promptly mailed it back to my friend. Such a gem.

The house was absolutely perfect! it's a beautiful place with beautiful views. The layout was great for our big group of people and everything was so clean and comfortable. Check in was easy, host was very responsive through messages and information was clear and easy to follow. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. My whole group was really impressed. thanks

This was one of the nicest Airbandbs we’ve stayed at. It was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, and even a basket of toys for kids. We will definitely be back.

This was a great stay for my wife, dog, and I. Jacqueline was an excellent communicator and answered the couple questions we had instantly. The place is very cozy and welcoming. The views didn’t prevent the unfortunately rainy weather from ruining a perfect weekend! Would definitely come back!

Like my dad always says “location, location, location. Cute condo right on the slopes with easy ski in/ski out access to the locker room to store your gear. The condo has everything you need for your trip. It’s a nice room with a little kitchen, nice size bathroom and a great view of the slopes. I will definitely stay there again next year.

Had a blast staying in Erin’s condo. The unit is very cozy and clean, in a prime location. She was very cooperative and gave great instruction for accessing/parking. Highly recommend to anyone visiting snowshoe.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Unit was exactly as pictured/described. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans, etc. Great amenities and nice touches like stocked coffee, creamer and popcorn. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Thank you!

Great bnb, intimate and location is serene

We loved our weeklong stay at Snowshoe! This location was very convenient for getting to the slopes right at opening and was great for post-ski activities with the village just a short walk away. The place was as described and clean.

Our family enjoyed our stay the Mountain Mama property. Communication was great from booking through checkout. The house was big enough for our family of 7 to spread out nicely. There were plenty of books and games to entertain our kiddos. Enjoying the fireplace while watching a family movie was perfect for a cold weekend.

This is the second time our family has stayed at this beautiful home. We enjoy the peacefulness and view of the lake. All the furnishings are comfortable too.

This place was just what I needed for the weekend. It was a beautiful and relaxing getaway and Kimberly is a great host! She even accommodated our last minute late checkout which was very nice of her. The wine and snacks that were there upon arrival was a nice surprise too.

Bryan's house was such a gem of a find. We went with four adults, three children and a dog and the house was *perfect*. I actually found that the photos didn't do justice to the view: both the lake and the mountain all in one view. We spent the days hiking Blackwater Falls and coming back to fish the lake (caught multiple largemouth bass and bluegill). The kids had a ball, and the adults loved warming up each night on the lower level with the gas fireplace. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience.

This is a lovely house! Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Super cozy living area. The only thing I missed in the kitchen was a dishwasher. Also, do yourself a favor and don’t park at the bottom of the drive to be close to house without assessing first whether you can get back up the driveway. I’ve never seen such a thoughtfully stock rental. My kids enjoyed playing down by the creek. There’s one restaurant nearby - maybe 15 minute drive- that came in handy!

We had a peaceful and renovating time!! Wish it was longer. Great family space for games and hanging out. Loved how easy it was to walk to the river. We even got to see a river otter! And lots of ducks, frogs, and other wildlife. Bring your river floats to chill in the river! Can’t wait to go back.

We loved staying at the lakefront property. The weather didn't allow us to spend much time in the amazing outdoor spaces at the home, so we will be back in warmee weather. The house was so comfortable and the view was amazing. We had everything we needed for a cozy mountain weekend away. We will definitely be back!
