Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which the former stable has been transformed into an attractive B&B. Specially decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and YouTube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The B&B is separate and closed off from the main building. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room.

The peace and quiet of Friesland and the coziness of the Elfstedenstad Dokkum are 5 minutes away by bike. You will find that in this renovated cottage. The guesthouse is located on the grounds of an authentic Frisian kop-hals-romp farm, is detached and has its own terrace. This provides a lot of peace and privacy. The farm is out of business. Over the years, a beautiful bio-diverse (picking) garden has been created. Guests are welcome to pick a flower, fruit or fresh herbs.

Enjoy the natural beauty around the Frisian nature reserve. Small villages alternate with lots of hiking and cycling possibilities. The historic town of Dokkum is 7 km away, and the crossing to the Wadden Islands is also easily accessible from here, such as Terschelling, Ameland, and Schiermonnikoog. Beautiful Lauwersoog National Park is also recommended. Feel at home in our chalet de Hooglander on a small-scale campsite in Westergeest.

At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
