Ewe hut is set in a 6 acre field on a 40 acre working sheep farm. The hut is made of wriggly tin and wool insulated and was built this year. The hut has electricity, hot and cold water, wood burner, shower and toilet. Hot tub and bbq shack outside. The hut accommodates two people.
“What an amazing little spot!! Complete peace and quiet, just the sheep baaa’ing and the owls twit twooing at night!! Weather changes quite quickly, foggy-clear-raining so just the luck of what you get! Plenty to go exploring- lovely walks and scenery! Nice local pub not to far with great homecooked food. Karen was great and kept our drinking water topped up and the facilities clean :) Compost loo and outdoor shower quite the experience! Log burner definatly kept the hut warm, most of the time to warm to which we needed the cool breeze from outside to come through. If you want get back to basics this is the one!!”

“The farm is of main road down a private side road. Reception was very welcoming. A good cup of tea . The scenery is amazing . Our room had our own private bathroom connected. Breakfast has a wide arrange of cerals. With homemade bread, jams and marmalade. A collection of fruit. Angela and John are really friendly people . Really glad that this airbnb accomadation is in the correct spirit of the sharing community . A real find, with good local knowledge and stories. If we in this area again during our travels it will be 1st on our list . Thank you Angela and John”
Our welcoming cosy well equipped cottage, set right in the heart of Dulverton, with great pubs and restaurants and stunning surroundings, with off street parking. Well behaved dogs welcome.
“Proffitts Cottage was a wonderful base for our very rainy weekend on Exmoor. Super clean, nice and warm and all the necessary amenities. Dulverton has everything needed and the coop is perfectly equipped for a decent supermarket shop. We visited Doniford farm park with our little girl which was a nice half day activity and the cakes were fantastic! There is an inside play area (handy for wet days). Tarr steps was beautiful and the pub/cafe was very welcoming even to our muddy shoes. Great trip. Would highly recommend.”
