We absolutely loved our stay in Jon and Aki’s space for 4 weeks. The apartment is in a perfect location with easy access to the city, but lovely and peaceful. The apartment itself is very clean and homely and just the right size for two people. The hosts gave us a lovely tour when we arrived and recommended a load of local spots. We highly recommend this place and hope you enjoy it as much as us :)

After I checked into Janelle's place - and she was able to give me an early check in that helped so, so much - I wrote her and said "this is how AirBnB's should be done!". Her flat is great! Great location, spacious, clean and it has everything one needs for a good stay. She doesn't skimp on anything - providing plenty of clean and good utensils, cookware, towles, iron/ironing board/clothes drying horse/soaps/TP/chocolates, milk, water in the fridge and clear instructions on how to use everything. And she's so proactive in communication. The place is in the heart of the action in Balmain, and like others have said, surprisingly quiet, especially at night. It really is a great place with a fantastic host and I will stay there again next time I'm in Sydney. Definitely book it - you'll be happy!

Lovely place to stay for the night. - peaceful yet still close enough to everything. Conveniently within walking distance of great food options. Phillip was a friendly host and gave helpful food recommendations.
