The Drechthuisje is only a half hour drive away from Amsterdam or Utrecht at the Loosdrechtse Plassen. This cottage is built sustainably with a lot of light and contemporary decor. Upon entering the gate, you will find a landscaped garden with terraces and all amenities are available for a relaxing stay. Our house is located in a nature reserve where you can make beautiful hikes and cycling trips and super close to Amsterdam & Utrecht ( 20 min). In the garden you'll find a nice terrace, trampoline and a veggie garden.

Where we then explain a few things about the cottage and its surroundings. We are also at your disposal with a fast boat in case of emergencies. We ask an extra deposit for the boat of € 500,- because Airbnb does not insure it.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place on the water.

Beautiful holiday stay in a brilliant location on the water, and yet only 15 minutes from Amsterdam. It is part of our own home, but is a self-contained residential unit, has beautiful views both on the water, and back of garden. It is located on a very quiet road that has about 20 other detached houses. The river the Vecht is wonderful for swimming, clean clear water, and of course for boating. There is a small rowing boat and 2 canoes.

The Barn

Feel welcome! Behind our house is De Schuur, a romantic, cozy and unique guest house, equipped with every comfort so that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the Jacuzzi and sauna on the veranda. There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.
