Year-round recreation! Located just 20 minutes from I-5 and 30 minutes from Mt St Helens, this is a popular getaway for hikers, fishermen, snowshoers and even scuba divers. Families that stay here enjoy letting their children explore the area, run around in the shared yard, play frisbee golf, soccer, tee ball, etc. PLEASE NOTE- the trailer is parked near our house and we are located right off of the rural highway. There is a potential for noise, specifically logging trucks.

About a 1-hour drive from Portland on the base of Mount Hood, Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city with 50 acres of meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest. Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay.
