Family-friendly vacation rentals in Willamette River

Very nice place to stay. Used hot tub on upper floor, wonderful view, somewhat of a hike, if any problems with walking, but we managed even with bad knees. Would definitely stay again. Great location.

It is a wonderful place. So comfortable and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and hangout for a long weekend. We started with a group of old friends and enjoyed our time hanging out on the deck and cooking together. We drove to the beach only 20 minutes away. After they left we had a lovely time just relaxing in the hot tub, sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. Though I must say even if it had been raining the outside porch is well covered and you could still enjoy being out there. Everyone was very pleased with the beds, super comfortable. There were plenty of linens and even outdoor towels, as well as seperate towels for the pets. (Though we did not have any with us) If I had any comment if would be, we were slightly disappointed that their was no leaf for the dining room table with eight of us and one in a wheelchair it was a tight squeeze, but we made it work! Again, not an issue, just a suggestion! All in all one of my favorite stays.

This place is a gem, for sure! What really stood out to us was that the house felt loved and cared for, in all the best ways. The garden was charming with its ponds and gazebo, and both house and yard made excellent use of space and felt much larger than the square footage would imply. Tabor Bread was an easy walk away and its pastries were delightful. There were many other restaurants in walking distance too. Dallas was an extremely responsive host and made us feel right at home. We would gladly stay here again!

Awesome place! We really enjoyed our stay at Malcolm’s place. The house is beautiful and it feels like home, the TVs on every room and the living room are very convenient, the internet is great, our children really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Malcolm was very attentive and really easy to talk to. We had a really great time.

I couldn’t imagine a better Airbnb while staying at Mt Hood. The home is absolutely gorgeous, extremely well cared for, pristinely clean, conveniently located a block from grocery options and a short drive to the primary areas to play on the mountain such as skibowl, Timberline and Meadows… it’s the perfect home-base for your Mt Hood gateway.

⸻ 5 stars! We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The hot tub was a definite highlight for the adults — perfect for unwinding in the evenings under the stars. Our kids had an absolute blast with the trampoline, which was a great touch and kept them entertained for hours. The host was responsive and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing place to stay!

This place was amazing! Straight out of a movie, it was so serene and beautiful! The host was super responsive and helpful and the house was beautifully curated and comfy! Would absolutely stay again!

Andre’s place was a perfect retreat! Lots of private outdoor space for relaxing and playing. I loved the French doors opening to the private yard. The indoor/outdoor layout was great! And it was quiet, only the sound of birdsong and waves. Everyone was relaxed and happy!

Great accommodations! comfortable, everything we needed. Staying a little ways out from busy Corvallis gave us a quiet respite to relax and recharge. Pool table was a huge hit with my housemates!

We had to book this place last minute (day of) as our previous accommodations had cancelled on us. Susan was so easy to work with and was very helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better saving of the day. The house was very clean, and was perfect for our group of gals. We had 1 guest that is severely allergic to dogs and even though this is a pet friendly house, not once did she have any type of reaction which goes to show just how clean the house was. I would absolutely recommend to a friend!

Betsy’s place was just the retreat my friends and I needed. Private, quiet and adventurous walk to the beach. The house had some outdated appliances but everything was well kept and functioning. The only issue was the Airbnb not being cleaned by check in time. The housecleaner showed up late but she was professional and got right to work. Betsy was more than accommodating when she received the news and offered a refund on the cleaning fee. Betsy always communicated within a reasonable time making everything easy. 5/5 recommend this location. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Everything was great! And Debby was able to accommodate an early check-in for us which was much appreciated! We had an excellent time.

The place was clean and spacious for the 3 of us and a dog. It is in an older neighborhood, but the house itself is well remodeled. The fenced backyard was very useful for our dog. There are a lot of wineries and the downtown close by. We had a nice dinner at La Rambla and breakfast at Alpine Kitchen. Brielle was very responsive. She even offered to bring over extra bowls for our Christmas dinner.

We would definitely stay here again next time we are working in Portland

Peaceful stay. Lots of pillow choices, extra blankets, and much more. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains made for easy sleeping. Fawnda is super responsive. Enjoyed the stay. Location met our needs.

The primary reason my partner and I ended up settling on this particular AirBnB out of the others we were considering was the hot tub. Although we only ended up taking advantage of this amenity one out of the three nights we stayed, we were not disappointed. A shared hot tub it might be, Jen was exceptionally responsive and made a point of encouraging us to use it without being disturbed. The instructions to gain entry into the detached unit we stayed in were clear and easy to follow. While initially skeptical about the effectiveness of the ceramic wall heater in the bedroom, my partner and I were pleasantly surprised to find it exceptionally efficient. Although we did end up helping out by swapping over the prior guest's linens from the washer to the dryer after our arrival, we had no complaints at all about our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, functioning, private... and the location was perfectly close (but not too close) to downtown Portland. We would 100% stay here again.

We loved The Whale Pod! Great views of the ocean, well-stocked kitchen and overall a comfortable place to be. Also, the walk-in closet was invaluable as an extra "bedroom" for an 11 mo-old in a pack-n-play. The club house pool was also a nice additional activity for kids to do.

Overall a great location for family vacation. Blocks to the beach, nice little deck with distant view of the ocean. Smell and Sounds of the ocean all day long. Next to groceries. Clean, updated place. We had a great visit!

Great location and a beautiful view. Even though there are a few cabins next door, it feels completely private. All the windows face a beautiful forested area and creek. The hot tub was wonderful and the house is clean.

This is a nice and spacious basement apartment of a larger family home located in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood. The owners’ garden is lovely and quiet and there are windows in the apartment for light and fresh air. The shower is powerful and spacious with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had just what we needed, too. Perfect for a couple. Very private and peaceful and walking distance to restaurants. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Miel was great! I made a mistake but, she was very helpful, quick to respond and recommend other accommodation that worked out perfectly! This little cabin was cozy for my boyfriend and I, plus our dog. The hot tub was clean and very warm! I wish we had time to utilize the fire pit. The cabin is sandwiched between two other cabins so you will want to be mindful of the noise. It’s in a cute neighborhood right by the beach, I wish we had one more day here. I recommend this place for small groups of 2-4, you can do 5 or 6 but it will be a little crammed.

Shelly was an amazing host. She asked our favorite snacks and coffee so she could have it ready when we got there. Shelly is very responsive and thoughtful.

We absolutely loved staying here and would do it again. The view was beautiful especially at sunset with the hot tub, close to restaurants, and the beach access is right by your unit. It was super clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen! Had everything we needed including spices. Definitely recommend to anybody wanting a private space that feels like home.

This was a repeat visit for my husband and I, and somehow the place was even better than we remembered! Every detail is so thoughtfully curated here, and Karen’s communication was proactive and helpful. They even put together a thoughtful vegan treat for my birthday, accommodating my special dietary request. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and we had a ton of fun playing golf and relaxing in the private hot tub and sauna. We also were able to use the salt water pool for a cold plunge after the sauna, which was a highlight of the trip! Sitting outside reading, listening to birds, and looking at all of the beautiful plants and wildlife we were truly able to disconnect and feel ourselves relax. Thank you for making this special place available to all!
