Everything was great!

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

We were kindly received and immediately received a lot of information about the region. There was coffee, water, tea, etc. ready for us. The cottage was bigger than expected and was very clean. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The few questions we had were also answered directly.

We had a lovely stay at the witch's house. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need. For us, the low ceiling height was also no problem, as we are both not tall😊

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Markus and Carina are really lovely, tolerant people, it just shines from them. We were made to feel part of the family instantly. When we contacted them they were very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, the kitchen is fully equipped as stated and was clean on entry, Nespresso machine was also really nice as we love our morning coffee. The surrounding area has beautiful walks and is very much like the Scottish Highlands, literally right outside the back door there is a lovely forest and hill walks, locals are friendly as you would expect living in such an idyllic hideaway. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk from the farms around the area. We really had a lovely time here and look forward to being able to return sometime soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay! Anja was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed and made suer we feel at home. The place was spotless, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing vacation with our baby. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back one day!

It was a super nice stay at the place. We got a great explanation in advance where we can find everything and were able to travel comfortably on and off again. We were greeted with a little attention in the form of drinks and fruit, which we were very happy about. We can only recommend it. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Carmen is super friendly and proactive, always making sure everything was perfect for our visit. The apartment itself was nice and clean, providing a peaceful retreat. I highly recommend staying here.

We had two really nice days at Dominik's place. The house offers everything you need and is well equipped! A true luxury! Dominik's accommodating manner makes the stay completely relaxing. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to stay again soon.

We have enjoyed the peace and space. The log cabin and garden were exactly what we needed to enjoy for a few days. The wood stove was also wonderfully warm and cozy. In addition, there was plenty to see outside in terms of nature.

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! Once again a great stay with lovely hosts!

Location is top, everything was very well maintained and complete. The garden is lovely to relax in and the contact with the host went smoothly. The upstairs neighbor is also very nice and always available for questions or a chat. It was also very nice that the dogs were so welcome. We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

My brother and I were in the apartment for a weekend, we were both very satisfied and we lacked nothing :)

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

In search of peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cabin has on the one hand old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a delight to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.
