This home is lovely and warm and inviting. I very much enjoyed the fact that i could cook and have everything there. I liked the patio and my kids enjoyed the town. We had time to check things out and even though i live in CT i still got to go places i have never been to. Dave is a very a welcoming and generous host. As soon as we got there we felt right at home. The projector was wonderful and the den was more beautiful in person. Definitely book the Bear Dens! It’s an awesome stay!

Perfect home for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The sunrises over the water were amazing! My husband enjoyed some quiet time kayaking and taking in the spectacular views of the changing colors of fall. Great neighborhood for dog walking and friendly neighbors. Jessica was a kind and attentive, responsive host.

My friends and I had a great overnight stay at Joe's place. Cozy living room with a nice record player and comfy couches, spacious bathrooms, and comfortable beds.

We had a family gathering at Emma's place (Tranquil Forest Haven). Everyone loved it. The house is architecturally unusual in a good way, with an enormous amount of common area for a 4-bedroom home. The kitchen is large enough for several cooks to be working at once and there are two large and one smaller common areas that flow together. The living/dining room has a cathedral ceiling in the sitting area and a lower, flat ceiling in the dining area. The acoustics were great. Even with multiple conversations going everyone could hear each other without shouting. So many homes and other gathering places have bad acoustics for gatherings, so this was a welcome relief from that problem, especially appreciated by the many people in our family who are older, with hearing loss. We had a nice walk around the nearby town pond, next to the school . It is wooded and tranquil, with geese. (The beach is closed due to bacteria. ) We enjoyed the fire in the wood stove.

We came as a group of friends with a baby to stay at Blake and Tracy's house, and we had a great stay. They were very communicative and accommodated all our requests to ensure our stay was excellent. They asked in advance if it would be okay for their child to stay in his room inside the house, and we agreed. We didn’t see him at all during our stay, and it didn’t disturb us in the slightest. The fact that Blake and Tracy live right next door was convenient, as they were readily available for anything we needed, but we never felt their presence. We will definitely come back!

we loved the place! stayed there two nights with our extended family of 3 generations and a small dog, and all had a blast. The property is even more beautiful than we expected, we can't wait to be back!

This was a great affordable option in the area. Short drive to UConn campus and only a couple minutes to downtown Willimantic. Has a washer and dryer in the basement that is shared with the AirBNB on the other floor.

We had 13 people staying at the house and everyone had a comfortable sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve a large crowd. There was plenty of parking. The big draw for the kids was the air hockey and pool table for the adults. Had it not been raining we would have taken advantage of the large deck with plenty of table space and seating. I would book again based on the positive feedback from everyone there.

Absolutely beautiful home with every amenity and comfort. You can tell how much love and care went into this place- every piece of furniture and detail is the highest quality. It’s even more spacious and beautiful than it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our group with young kids and it was great they provided a pack and play so we didn’t have to pack one. The hosts were easy to communicate with and flexible. They even let us check out late on our final day. We opted to enjoy the beautiful yard and home longer rather than venture out because we were so comfortable. We cannot wait to come back in the summer as the pool and yard set up is incredible. We got married at a venue about 15 minutes away so we stayed here with our bridal party and the size was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably, we still had plenty of space. The neighborhood is quiet and the location is still close enough for us to enjoy exploring Sturbridge. Michael was responsive and honest with any question I asked!

Pier Escape is perfect! And the Host, Megan is fantastic. This home is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated. You will have everything you need for your stay. It is located in the Pier area so you will be about a mile from the town beach and there are tons of shops and restaurants in between! Yet when you are at the home, it is so private! The backyard is wonderful for both day and night activities. Megan is truly a “super host” and provides her renters with a wonderful space to create memories. Thank you!

What a gem!!! We loved waking up to seeing horses from the bedroom, feeding the cows, walking the property, and hanging on the porch. This is the most peaceful and unique Airbnb we’ve stayed at. Cristyn is also super fast and helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Kim's place. We had 4 adults and 3 kids, plenty of space for us. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, well stocked kitchen, different beach gears, a beautiful pool although we didn't use it much due to a cool temperature. Kim was an awesome host. She provided useful local info and tried her best to make things easier for us including possible early check in and late check out. Communication was timely and clearly. Location was convenient. Easy access to New Port, beaches, and all sorts of eateries. Definitely recommend.

Heather’s place is wonderful, we would like to stay there again in the future.

I fell in love with this apartment, the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were excellent, very cozy and endless amenities, the only complaint I have is the ceiling of the room but it is understandable and is not a big deal and they did not tell us where to put the garbage so we had to leave it in front of the door in the garage but other than that a very good experience in this beautiful place, I recommend it!

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

Had the time of my life here! I recommend to anyone who loves animals or just needs a change of pace. I definitely plan on returning!

Gary was extremely helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully designed. The only downside was the ticks—we found several on our dog throughout our stay. Apparently, male ticks are less likely to transmit diseases, but I’d recommend giving your dog tick prevention medication before your trip, just to be safe.

By far one of the best places we’ve stayed. The view of the lake was incredible. Jane met us when we arrived and showed us some things in the house. The house was amazing and incredibly clean. And watching the neighbors dog play in the water all day was an added bonus.

The place was just as described! We were visiting the area for a wedding with our 3 small children. The bunk bed room was awesome for the kids and the host left out some items for them as well. Everything was clean and our family night out by the fire with s’mores was one to remember!
