Private room in a quiet area of Witney, within walking distance to town. Off road parking free. Perfect for business or holiday, close to Burford and the Cotswolds and a direct bus into Oxford centre/station a short walk away. Large kitchen, we are happy for guests to use as we do not provide breakfast, garden and a shared bathroom. We have recently welcomed a cockapoo puppy, Polly, into our family. She is friendly but still quite young and is as equally as excited to meet new people as us.
“Kate's place is excellent value for a short stay in Witney. Walking distance to the town centre yet removed enough for it to be quiet for a good night's sleep. Kate and her partner wete welcoming. Would definitely recommend.”
A cosy 3 story town house, located a short 3 minute walk from Witney town centre. Sitting on the edge of The Cotswolds this is a perfect base to explore West Oxfordshire. This is a family home that has a good sized single bed with the option of an added bed in the room. A cosy living area with open fire and Sky TV, as well as a private courtyard with seating and a chiminea.
“It was so nice to stay at Charlie’s house. Very friendly family. House is so clean, warm and we have had everything what we needed. Beds very confortable. Room good size. Big bathroom always clean. Area is beautifull close to shops and town centre. Close to know Oxford, Blenheim Pałace, Minster Lovell ruins. Lots of places to visit. We enjoyed our stay at Charlie’s house. Highly reccomended to everyone.”
Yew Tree Cottage, believed to have been built in the early 18th century, is a picturesque stone built cottage with thick stone walls, open fireplace, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, old wooden floorboards and limestone floors. In the fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, dishwasher, large microwave and oven/grill with induction hob, you will find everything you need should you wish to cook. There is off street parking available for two cars.
“Everything here gets five stars. The lovely cooking, social space is ideal for those of us that are happy to cook, but if you can’t be bothered there is a pub a few yards down the street. Only sorry that because of the weather we couldn’t use the outdoor space. Bedrooms are well appointed and lovely fluffy towels. The location of the property, to the town and amenities is ideal, so much to see in Witney. It’s also an ideal base to visit the Cotswolds. Would happily return here.”
