When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Nearby are some restaurants, the outdoor pool and indoor pool. The city of Saalfed charges a spa fee of €2 for adults and €1 per day for children from 6 to 14 years.
