Wake up to birdsong and sounds of farm animals is a unforgettable experience. All rooms are equipped with professional fans. There is room enough for possibly a 2nd cot. The house may be less suitable for people who are badly injured. The house knows a few steps and steep ladders. discuss this with your traveling companions. OUTSIDE The farmhand house is surrounded by nature, you will find yourself between the farms and pastures. There is a terrace to have breakfast with the morning sun from the east. The large garden with picnic table located behind the house and is oriented to the west that the evening sun. The village has a children's playground and a phalanx at the bridge you can rent a canoe or a boat. Here you can swim and eat ice cream. The tourist office is also there. These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, right in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!
