Barry ist ein sehr freundlicher, gut erreichbarer Gastgeber, der sich kümmert. Die Kommunikation war top. Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos und im Text beschrieben. Vielleicht sollte man erwähnen, dass die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen oben sehr steil und schmal ist. Für uns und unsere (großen) Kinder war das kein Problem, aber bei kleinen Kindern könnte das ein Thema sein. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns über die Mückennetze und die Rollos zum Verdunkeln in den Schlafräumen. Die Betten sind bequem. Es ist sehr ruhig am See, selbst wenn viele Häuschen bewohnt sind - eine entspannte, schöne Atmosphäre. Die Nutzung des Fernsehers hat uns erst vor ein Rätsel gestellt, aber nach einer Nachfrage bei Barry funktionierte alles gut. Die SUPs und Boote sind ein Highlight- unsere Kinder waren begeistert. Seerosen und der tägliche Besuch von Enten und Blesshühnern sind inklusive. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe und Barry gibt gute Tipps für Aktivitäten und Ausflugsziele. Insgesamt ein toller Urlaub.

Die Lage am See ist sehr schön. Das Grundstück ist am Bootssteg etwas dunkel, aber ab mittags ist die Sonne da. Die Küche ist groß. Die Betten waren bequem.

Francisco has a lovely house and everything that you will need. The garden in the back near the small river is beautiful and very well furnished, the lights give a cool vibe to the garden. I recommend 100%.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Wenjas schönem Beach House. Es war so liebevoll und schick eingerichtet, die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung trifft absolut zu. Die Kinder hatten große Freude im Pool zu schwimmen und die Sauna hinterher war eine Wohltat. In ein paar Minuten ist man am wunderschönen Strand mit netter Beach Bar. (Zu erwähnen ist vielleicht, dass ein Abschnitt ein Hundestrand ist. Für unsere Kinder eine Riesen Freude so viele freundliche Hunde anzutreffen. ) Von der Wohnung aus sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto zum Shopping Center im Ort und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (zb Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort usw) sind in 20-40 min erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Vielen Dank, dass du dein schönes Haus mit uns geteilt hast, liebe Wenja. Absolute Empfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Arjen. La maison est très agréable, très joliment décorée, dans un quartier calme, idéale pour une famille de 4. Très belle cuisine très bien équipée. La place de parking est un vrai plus sachant qu’ensuite on peut aller au centre d’Amsterdam en 20 mn grâce à la station de tram toute proche. La maison doit être très agréable en été avec la terrasse au bord de l’eau. Nous espérons revenir et nous recommandons cette location à 100% !

We felt right at home at Willem‘s place. Loved the beachy feel of the house, the individual decoration, you can see he feels at home here as well. The proximity to the city and train station came in very handy (10min walk), the bed was very comfortable, the little garden area cute and I had no issues working remotely with his internet access. The neighborhood is lively during the day and quiet during the night. The self-checkin was very convenient for our early arrival and very early departure. Haarlem has a great vibe and we would certainly return.

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

Proper en ruim verblijf voor 7-8 personen. Zeer goede voorzieningen en uitstekende gastvrijheid. Wij zelf houden van het gevoel van privacy. We hebben Immy zelf niet gezien tijdens ons verblijf maar als er iets was, konden we haar contacteren. Prima

Highly recommended! The photos match the house exactly, the place is probably even a bit more spacious in real life. The house is in a very calm local residential area, very private, we stayed for a week and not once we heard any unwanted noise from the neighbourgs or anything. No tourists in sight. The private terrace is a true gem as well. The house has all you need in the kitchen and was perfectly clean in all regards. It’s located within a ~10min walk from the train station. Anne is very friendly and responsive, she was also very accommodating with us in terms of check-in and check-out. Thank you!

Nooit geweten dat in een Noord Hollandse polder een eilandje lag. Wat een leuke en mooie locatie. 100% Holland. We zijn drie dagen gebleven. Leuk gegeten bij het restaurant naast het huis. Lekker buiten kunnen zitten. De dag erna varen en vissen. BBQ-en in de tuin. De volgende dag naar het strand van Castricum en Volendam. Tussendoor hebben de jongens lekker kunnen voetballen op het veldje op twee minuten loopafstand. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. En een fijne communicatie met Carey.

The accommodation is practical and very well equipped. The village is an amazing place to live, with a perfect balance between nature and services (15’ by bike from Amsterdam). The natural area “Het Twiske” is at a walking distance from the accommodation. It is a perfect place for enjoyable bike rides, hiking or bathing in the lakes. It has several playgrounds. The accommodation is ideally situated to discover not only the city of Amsterdam but also many other destinations, such as beautiful sand dunes along the shore (e.g., Zandwoort, Castricum), nice villages (e.g., Marken), the historical town of Haarlem, and many more. Barbara has been very helpful before, during and at the end of the stay. In over ten years of experience on AirBNB, this place is probably the best booking we ever made, both for the accommodation and for the surroundings.

la maison était parfaite, bien emplacée au milieu de la nature et la rivière, la cuisine super bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien, c'est comme si nous étions chez nous, les chambres spacieuses et confortables, vraiment lé séjour était très agréable, je recommande à 1000%!!!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits chez Anne. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement d'Amsterdam (7 minutes en voiture jusqu'à la gare puis 15 minutes en train), et nous retrouver au calme en famille en fin de journée. Le gîte est spacieux, pratique et très agréable avec vue sur les chevaux. Nous conseillons vivement. Sonia

Casa preciosa i super comfortable per una estada en família, amb canal davant i jardí molt cuidat en un poble tranquil i molt bonic. A 30 minuts en cotxe d'Amsterdam. També es poden fer excursions en bicicleta des de De Rijp. Comunicació fàcil amb l'amfitriona, sempre disponible. Tres gats maquíssims et fan companyia durant l'estada :)

This is lovely family home in lovely Dutch country village, Broek in Waterland, just a short drive or bus connection from Amsterdam. The house was under partial renovation (which the owners warned me for) when I was there for ten days this summer, but the fully-equipped kitchen, the spacious living room, and the amazing view from the garden on water and fields really made the stay very enjoyable. My friends loved the art, the books and general vibe of the house. Maartje and Maarten were excellent and very relaxed hosts who showed me around the house before they left on vacation. Oh and private parking is also a plus. Highly recommended.

Leontien’s family home was our refuge for our stay! After full days of exploration we found everything we needed : a clean comfortable home, a lovely yard, a fully equipped kitchen and a peaceful neighborhood where to have a restful night. Access to Amsterdam was easy by a quick inexpensive bus ride (do make sure to get a chip card for travel as the Landsmeer bus is not covered by the basic Amsterdam day tickets.) As for biking, you’re right there in the wonderful countryside side, about 60 minutes away from Zaanse Schans. We also enjoyed having the grocery store and bakery so close to the home. We had a great time.

Our 8-day stay in the Holland countryside was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and straightforward—everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel completely at home from the start. The house itself was spotless—super clean and fresh, clearly cared for with love. It looked exactly like the photos and matched the description perfectly, which was such a pleasant surprise. We also really appreciated the helpful instructions and thoughtful local recommendations that made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable. The rural setting was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, yet still very walkable. We spent many mornings simply enjoying the serenity of the countryside. Our stay was fantastic. It was easy to get to center on the ferry and the location was very peaceful. The place had everything we needed plus extras like the amazing record player. The garden was great to have and there is a neighborhood cat that hangs out there. Overall, a stay that reminds me why I like Airbnb. I could tell I was in someone’s home and got a sense of what their lives are like. Thanks for everything!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Broek in Waterland. Super accueil de Sjoerd très réactif, chaleureux et instructions très claires. Logement très bien situé à 5 minutes de la station de bus qui dessert le centre d'Amsterdam. Maison très propre et très charmante qui coche toutes les cases pour se ressourcer : située dans un village plein de charme, à proximité de la nature tout comme du centre Amsterdam. Je recommande vivement et nous aurions beaucoup de plaisir à y retourner. Un gros coup de cœur pour les villages du Waterland 😍

Monique est très accessible et réactive. Le logement était très bien , à 18 mn en voiture d’un parking d’Amsterdam. Paisible et accueillant, je recommande.
