House vacation rentals in Wormerland

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

The location on the lake is very nice. The property is a little dark at the jetty, but from noon the sun is there. The kitchen is big. The beds were comfortable.

Francisco has a lovely house and everything that you will need. The garden in the back near the small river is beautiful and very well furnished, the lights give a cool vibe to the garden. I recommend 100%.

We had a wonderful time at Wenja's beautiful beach house. It was so lovingly and chicly furnished, the kitchen fully equipped. The description of the apartment is absolutely true. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and the sauna afterwards was a treat. In a few minutes, you will be on the beautiful beach with nice beach bar. (It may be worth mentioning that one section is a dog beach. So many friendly dogs are a huge pleasure for our children. ) From the apartment it is only a few minutes by car to the shopping center in the village and many attractions (e.g. Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, etc.) can be reached in 20-40 minutes. We had a great time at Arjen's place. The house is very nice, very beautifully decorated, in a quiet area, ideal for a family of 4. Very nice very well equipped kitchen. The parking space is a real plus knowing that then you can go to the center of Amsterdam in 20 minutes thanks to the nearby tram station. The house must be very nice in summer with the terrace by the water. We hope to return and recommend this rental 100%!

Love this place, if you driving in Netherlands, then this place is perfect. You can easily reach Amsterdam and Volendam by car from here. Recommended!

We felt right at home at Willem‘s place. Loved the beachy feel of the house, the individual decoration, you can see he feels at home here as well. The proximity to the city and train station came in very handy (10min walk), the bed was very comfortable, the little garden area cute and I had no issues working remotely with his internet access. The neighborhood is lively during the day and quiet during the night. The self-checkin was very convenient for our early arrival and very early departure. Haarlem has a great vibe and we would certainly return.

Highly recommended! The photos match the house exactly, the place is probably even a bit more spacious in real life. The house is in a very calm local residential area, very private, we stayed for a week and not once we heard any unwanted noise from the neighbourgs or anything. No tourists in sight. The private terrace is a true gem as well. The house has all you need in the kitchen and was perfectly clean in all regards. It’s located within a ~10min walk from the train station. Anne is very friendly and responsive, she was also very accommodating with us in terms of check-in and check-out. Thank you!

Everything is good, but the location is a bit far from Amsterdam. You can either drive yourself to the apartment or take the train.

The accommodation is practical and very well equipped. The village is an amazing place to live, with a perfect balance between nature and services (15’ by bike from Amsterdam). The natural area “Het Twiske” is at a walking distance from the accommodation. It is a perfect place for enjoyable bike rides, hiking or bathing in the lakes. It has several playgrounds. The accommodation is ideally situated to discover not only the city of Amsterdam but also many other destinations, such as beautiful sand dunes along the shore (e.g., Zandwoort, Castricum), nice villages (e.g., Marken), the historical town of Haarlem, and many more. Barbara has been very helpful before, during and at the end of the stay. In over ten years of experience on AirBNB, this place is probably the best booking we ever made, both for the accommodation and for the surroundings.

the house was perfect, well located in the middle of nature and the river, the super well-equipped kitchen, we didn't miss anything, it feels like if we were at home, the spacious and comfortable rooms, really the stay was very nice, I recommend 1000%!!!

Very near to Zaanse Schan and easy to get into Amsterdam city. if you come with a car, you can park at P&R Noord then take train to Amsterdam.

We had a fantastic stay at Lisa’s house in Heemskerk. The house is furnished beautifully and was very comfortable. Lisa was easy to contact and very responsive. We made use of the bikes that Lisa kindly left in their shed and also took up Lisa’s recommendation of dinner at Het Dorrup. Great location and again I must say a fantastic stay!

Beautiful and super comfortable house for a family stay, with canal front and very manicured garden in a quiet and very beautiful village. 30 minutes drive to Amsterdam. Bike tours can also be made from De Rijp. Easy communication with the host, always available. Three handmade cats keep you company during your stay :)

This is lovely family home in lovely Dutch country village, Broek in Waterland, just a short drive or bus connection from Amsterdam. The house was under partial renovation (which the owners warned me for) when I was there for ten days this summer, but the fully-equipped kitchen, the spacious living room, and the amazing view from the garden on water and fields really made the stay very enjoyable. My friends loved the art, the books and general vibe of the house. Maartje and Maarten were excellent and very relaxed hosts who showed me around the house before they left on vacation. Oh and private parking is also a plus. Highly recommended.

Leontien’s family home was our refuge for our stay! After full days of exploration we found everything we needed : a clean comfortable home, a lovely yard, a fully equipped kitchen and a peaceful neighborhood where to have a restful night. Access to Amsterdam was easy by a quick inexpensive bus ride (do make sure to get a chip card for travel as the Landsmeer bus is not covered by the basic Amsterdam day tickets.) As for biking, you’re right there in the wonderful countryside side, about 60 minutes away from Zaanse Schans. We also enjoyed having the grocery store and bakery so close to the home. We had a great time.

Our stay was fantastic. It was easy to get to center on the ferry and the location was very peaceful. The place had everything we needed plus extras like the amazing record player. The garden was great to have and there is a neighborhood cat that hangs out there. Overall, a stay that reminds me why I like Airbnb. I could tell I was in someone’s home and got a sense of what their lives are like. Thanks for everything!

What an amazing place! We loved our stay in Broek in Waterland. The house was beautiful, and so well set up for us and our 2 year old. the location was so lovely, and everyone we met was so friendly. Highly recommend!
