Mais attention...vous êtes à la campagne... il se peut que le coq se mette à faire quelques vocalises, que vous croisiez le chemin de quelque limace ou araignée...alors, si vous êtes prêts et surtout si vous avez de l'humour, ONGI ETORRI (bienvenus) !!!

The proximity to the beach will allow you to forget your vehicle. Free parking 50 m away, safe bicycles. Bus stop at the entrance to the subdivision. Spain is 5 minutes away, and you will discover the culture and traditions on both sides of the border, which in fact is not one, because the Basque Country is unique from north to south.

Spacious house with garden, 2 bedrooms and 3 beds. Very well placed to visit the Basque Country. Just 1 minute from the motorway connecting to Donostia-San Sebastian (20 minutes), Biarritz (30 minutes), Bilbao and Guggenheim (1h15min), and the whole Basque coast. Being well connected means that there may be some traffic (not the highway) outside of the house, with some noise during peak hours. It is within a 5-minute walk from the Spanish border and its shops. Enjoy our home!

A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.
