Casa do Trovador exceeded expectations. We already expected a spacious house with several highlights. But on arrival, we found that the pictures do not do justice in sight and the location. With several leisure spaces, even with less favourable time, it was a very pleasant stay. Communication was impeccable at all times. I highly recommend it for groups and families who want to spend time together where there is no lack of space!

A peaceful slice of heaven just 2 hours drive from Lisbon… we never wanted to leave. The house is even better than the photos and so cozy, surrounded by colorful flower gardens. Although there are quite a few other guest properties on this property, you’ll have plenty of privacy at the tiny house. Kitchen has everything you need, and we loved sitting by the fire at night while listening to the sounds of nature. Shared swimming pool is just steps away from the house, but the weather was a little too cold for us to try it—looks lovely though. Erica was a top host and communication was perfect. We already can’t wait to be back!!

The location is spectacular. Great for those who want to just relax and enjoy nature, from enjoying the morning sun with a beautiful landscape to enjoying the starry night sky. The house has all amenities for a comfortable stay. Thank you to Francisco who was always available for whatever it took.

A good place at a good price, everything is very clean and cozy, the host Joaquin is very friendly and helpful. If we are in the area, we will definitely repeat.

Quiet, spacious and pleasant space, the Jacuzzi in winter is an added value

We had a great time at Victoria's place. the views are beatiful, the house is very spacious for a big family/group and was very clean. the pool area is also very nice as well as the cinema area. is very well equiped -kitchen utensiles, bbq, linen, etc. the only improvement point, in our opinion, are the size of the double beds, which are a bit small for a couple :) thank you for the good time!

If you plan on coming to central Portugal, you MUST stay here. Portugal is a beautiful country, and Madeira Mountain Meadow Cottage is the epitome of Portuguese country living. In the middle of nature, views of the Zezere river, waking up in a restored schist cottage. Scott and Lynn are welcoming, friendly hosts, open to sharing their experiences of their life in Portugal. Highly recommended. Just stay here.

There are no words to describe this paradise. Beginning with Edite and Hernâni, who were extremely attentive and always concerned about us, in every corner of the house and all the outdoor space that mirror the affection, the good taste and the love with which they were thought and realized. We feel at home outside the house, we feel like we are returning to a home that we have not known until then. Upon arrival, he waited in the fresh lemonade and a jar of honey from the bees of Edite. During our stay we were not only gifted with homemade eggs but for extreme care so that nothing was missing during the blackout. There was no better place than this nook to spend this day, where we barely realized the lack of light and dined in the garden under the stars and by candlelight. Certainly we will return many times to this hidden paradise in the middle of our Portugal. Thanks for everything Edite and Hernâni.
