“The location is very close to the BART station and there is a large shopping center right in front of the airbnb. The room was very clean and comfortable. The gentle sunshine and the chirping of birds in the morning allowed me to wake up pleasantly every day. When I opened the door, a lovely, friendly cat in the garden was sleeping peacefully. Check-in was also easy and smooth. Karen was a very kind host. Despite the house rules they were willing to respond to irregular requests for check-in. Because of my mistake, the room making team accidentally disposed of my things in the refrigerator because of my early check-in. When I returned that evening I was very upset and mailed Karen a bit rudely and angrily. Even at that time, Karen responded immediately and was really kind and sincere. She took care of the situation to my complete satisfaction with professionalism and empathy. Karen, I'm sorry to make you feel uncomfortable at that time after your kindness and consideration. One more time. Karen, thank you very much.”

“This was our fist time staying at an Airbnb so we didn’t exactly know what to expect. Our stay was very pleasant. The cottage is located in the back yard of a charming house on a beautiful street. We arrived late after our hosts retired for the evening. We where able to get the key to the cottage from the lockbox hanging on the yard gate using the access code they provided. The way into the yard through the fence is a bit narrow due to a garden planter. This was no problem for us, but might be difficult to navigate with larger luggage. The cottage was spacious, charming and immaculately clean. We always found parking right in front of the house on all three days of our stay. We met our lovely host family as we left every morning at the same time they took there children to school. The house is walking distance from the charming shopping and restaurant village along Solano Ave. I would suggest eating at Zachary's Pizza, which is my favorite pizza parlor in the world. UC Berkeley is only a 15 minutes drive. I would definitely consider staying here again.”

“Sherry's cottage is cute, quaint, private and very comfortable. There is a small outdoor area so you can sit out & read a book/have coffee under the pergola or in the sun..the outside area feels private and lovely amongst the backyard garden & gorgeous lemon tree. The design of the cottage is very thoughtful and comfortable. Open style kitchen with everything you could need..overlooking the livingroom/tv/couch area so you can cook and watch tv at the same time, which is nice if you are alone. Large fridge/freezer combo which isn't always easy to find in airbnb kitchens. Separqte bedroom off of the living room has a door leading to the back deck. Bed is comfy and cozy. I felt safe and relaxed my entire stay. It is very quiet at the cottage. I would DEFINITELY stay here again! Sherry goes above and beyond to respond quickly and thoughtfully to anythingyou may need/suggestions in the area. The cottage is a short walk to a main street with a CVS, grocery stores and restaurants. Felt like a quiet and safe neighborhood. Definitely recommend the lemon tree cottage.”
