Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Our accommodation is conveniently located whether you want to enjoy the beaches (10 min drive, beach bus 3 min), the hinterland or the nearby Camargue, we are very close to the highway exit and the beach road (300 m). Your access to the accommodation will be easy whether you come by car (free parking) or train (bus stop for the train station at the foot of the building). The historic center is easily accessible in less than 10 minutes by bus or bike, 15/20 minutes on foot

Quiet room and breakfast, bathroom, parking.

Room in Recent House located a few minutes from the city center, on foot or by car according to your desires. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (160) located on the upper floor of the air-conditioned house with private bathroom. On the ground floor: shared living room with TV, Wi-Fi. The courtyard will allow you to safely park your vehicle (recharging an electric car is available for a fee of 5 euros) Breakfast is included , please note there is no kitchen.

Our totally independent suite is equipped with an indoor Spa and a terrace with table, swing, fire pit, all quiet and out of sight, the private parking (interior of the courtyard) will ensure easy and secure parking.
