Vacation rentals with breakfast in Aluthgama

Fantastic holiday with family! We had a great 2 night stay .. we enjoyed the hospitality and the villa. Mani was amazing and Kawshika cooked up amazing meals. It was peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, pool and great family time.

We had six lovely days at the villa. It’s right on a quiet beach, and a five minute walk to see the turtles! Sunil’s breakfasts were amazing and he was always willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this villa. It’s so gorgeous and such a relaxing location. We were recommended this villa by some friends and would 100% recommend for anyone to stay here. Amazing staff, and wonderful breakfasts. I hope one day we can come back and stay again!

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Dilan is really a great host. He helped us a lot even before arriving and responded to any questions we had. Very helpful, he arranged our transfers and motorbikes and helped us with everything, even brought us food. The villa was incredibly nice and clean, we love our stay in his place, we felt like home the entire time and I recommend it! ❤️

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

We had a very nice stay at the Cocomari villa. The villa is beautifully decorated, very clean and perfectly located on a little visited beach part. So you have the beach almost completely to yourself and have direct access from the property. Ithquan was very helpful, available at all times and allowed us a flexible check-out. The only thing you need to know is that there is only air conditioning in two of the three bedrooms. Otherwise, we can highly recommend the villa and would be happy to come back. 😊

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

When planning my trip to the South Province of Sri Lanka I was looking for an authentic, calm, modern, clean and one of a kind accommodation. The BoBo's Cinnamon Estate Duwabedda met more then my expectations. I am still dreaming of the soft breeze, the shy smell of cinnamon, the peacocks who visited us before heading to the next lot (this time a rice field), the smooth awakening early in the morning (gentle prayers of the Buddhist monks from far away, early morning songs of the birds...), the lovely Ceylon tea, the host's topless tuk tuk that brought us to the sea side, Galle and other destinations, and so much more... Catrin and Bharatha were caring and loving hosts. They were present yet discreet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

While the accommodation itself was perfect, the real selling point for this stay is the hosts. They are the most lovely hosts I’ve ever had, attending to all of our needs and very communicative. Please do yourself a favour and stay here! 10/10

We loved it here. A short walk to a reef break. Amazing breakfast & coffees. Lovely chilled vibe with the kindest of staff. We were so sad to leave. Can’t recommend it enough.

Very nice welcome from Amila and her family. The house is a little off-center, but Alima transports us wherever you want. The price is reasonable and displayed in the room. Alima and his wife cooks very well. We recommend it.

It was a very nice stay.

Loved our stay at the Spice House. The pool and garden area are gorgeous. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

Guy was very helpful. The access to the pool from washroom and the outdoors is crazy.

Perfect place for a little romantic getaway in the beautiful Galle fort! You couldn't ask for a better location, kinder hosts, and a more delicious breakfast. Highly recommend staying at the Dutch Wall:)

We had a super nice time in our "Dreamtime Lodge". Everything super authentic, clean & just as decorated as in the photos. A great getaway in the jungle! The whole staff were super friendly and always helpful. Our highlight was the great breakfast. Everything is very tasty, varied and lovingly prepared. We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. Had an amazing stay. Just stayed for one night, but if we had the time we would definitely stay longer! The host (which I believe was the owners father) is very sweet, funny and helpful. The accomodation was super nice and clean. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x
