Simos was a great host. He communicated really well and always on hand to help with any queries we had. The villa is very spacious and had everything you would need for a fantastic self catering holiday. The beds were so comfortable. The view from the living room took our breath away every time we stepped into the room! The balcony out of the kitchen was a nice spot in the evening. The roof terrace was amazing, very comfortable seating and great sun beds. The views down to the ocean were fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend Simos villa if you are looking for an away from any hustle and bustle of a busy town type of holiday, it is very peaceful and a quiet little sleepy village , book it and you will have a great time! Honestly, this was mine and my boyfriend’s first holiday. It was absolutely amazing. Just want to start with the staff and cleaner Katerina. Honestly such lovely trustworthy people. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The host even left us some bits of food and fruit and a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. The location was perfect as it was near a lot (Malia, hersonisoss, Heraklion, gouves) but also had its own unique privacy which was picturesque to say the least. We definitely recommend hiring a car as this allowed us to do so much in our 10 days here. The character this villa had was absolutely beautiful (I especially loved the bamboo ceiling additive in one of the bedrooms). I also loved how thoroughly I saw the place being cleaned as we left. Very professional and deep cleaning of the pool. Honestly if you are thinking of staying here you should. We definitely wish to come back and thank everyone who made our time as enjoyable as it was :) x

The apartment is equipped as described. Soft bed, terrace and pool facing west. View of the olive groves and a valley. We were lucky and had the pool completely to ourselves on almost every day. If the other apartment is occupied (with 7 people on two days with us), you share the terrace and pool. The water quality of the pool is excellent. It is cleaned regularly. The host family is always available, yet you have great privacy. They are very welcoming and surprised us several times with small touches: tomatoes from their own garden, Greek sweets and treats, ouzo, etc. The property is easily accessible by a small car through the narrow streets of the village with some driving skills and is only about 15 minutes' drive from Heraklion. There is almost no aircraft noise. Within a few km there are very delicious taverns. Thanks again for having us as your guests.
