The Copper cottage was such a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. It is so cozy and inviting and the host is very responsive and willing to help with anything you need. I will definitely be back for another girls weekend.

We stayed in the first of a pair of small cottages that share a hot tub on a secluded lot. The place looks newly constructed and spotless, secluded, and comfortable. There is wifi, but no television, so bring your own screen. The hot tub was a real hit! And Derrick, the host, was very responsive and and friendly.

I can’t say enough about this place! Can’t wait to come back! I couldn’t get over the privacy and the beauty of the property; inside & out. Christine and Jeremie were SO easy to communicate with! Our Golden Mabel had the best adventure and already looking forward to her next visit! Thank you both again!!

I and 4 other friends stayed at Summit Lodge for 2 nights. We were all so impressed with the craftmanship of the cottage, the cleanliness, simple, yet charming decor and the open interior with beautiful windows overlooking the lake and tree line. Immediately after booking, Brent sent helpful messages with clear instructions and guidance for our stay. The hot tub was perfect for five and the changing lights added some fun to its use in the evenings. We immediately started discussing a second trip in the warmer months to hopefully take advantage of that beautiful lake, kayaks and fire pit. I highly recommend these cottages, having previously stayed at another of the properties a year prior, Homesteader Lodge, which was equally beautiful. Thanks!

Alex was a great host. The listing is very nicely decorated and you can tell that he put his all into it. We had a very fun evening. Alex’s customer service standards are very high and made sure we felt comfortable. True island hospitality. The hot tub and the BBQ were a great addition to this listing. I can’t wait until we are back again!

Second time staying and was once again a perfect cozy little get away!

The cabin is one of four cabins - probably very convenient if traveling with a group. It overlooks a water inlet. The cabin is well kept up but fairly basic in terms of dishes, etc. There is a beach nearby but we didn't visit it due to the mosquitos.

We had a lovely stay. Melissa is a great host and we will certainly be back again!

We loved our stay at Heather’s place. It was a beautiful area. The beds were super comfortable and the wood stove made the chilly night super comfortable. Heather was a great host, she was really proactive with great information prior to our arrival.

Such a lovely tiny home! My tween daughter and I stayed two nights and we loved the home, the rushing river right outside the large windows, the comfy Endy beds. My daughter loved the loft sleeping area and the super plush living room chairs. The kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped for such a small place!! Taylor answered quickly the very few questions we had. Memorize or screen shot the lock code before you go as there is no cell service (I forgot this). Luckily, I was able to pull the code out of my brain! Also, remember the water is not potable- I forgot this and made tea. All was fine, but a little note over the taps would be great as sometimes people don't remember everything from the listing description. Highly recommend. We may be back in the summer to try the swimming/tubing/trail rides in the area!

My second stay in the last two months. Safe to say this will be a repeat location. The space is cozy and private. Great amenities and a quick drive into town for restaurants, shopping, and scenic walks. Can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely stunning views from the cabin, the cabin is very clean and has everything you will need and has alot of personal charm :) I am definitely going to come back frequently!

The wooden house was more perfect than we imagined and gave us an unexpected experience. Everything is perfect!

The feeling of coming into this cozy cottage on a rainy, cold October afternoon was amazing - Jody had a crackling fire going in the wood stove and it was as if we were coming home. The dogs loved the wooded trails around the large, private property and the highlight was the adorable bridge crossing a wide brook. The area was peaceful and quiet and we highly recommend it.

This cozy cottage on the water was everything my family and I could have asked for! Tracey and Randall made vacationing EASY with having everything we could need right there. We had great communication from the start making checkin quick! This vacation rental really felt like home! Great kitchen with everything you’d need, perfect sized bathroom/laundry room, and a great deck to sit on and admire the view! We used the outdoor shower lots to help wash off after a day at the beach. We also had a fire and s’mores one night! The paddle board, canoe and kayaks were a bonus that we took advantage of and toured around on the water with my family. Nothing but positive things to say! Look forward to staying here again!

We had a lovely stay at Beachcombers - a tranquil, idyllic spot on the island. Brenda was a friendly and responsive host who made us feel right at home, including welcoming us with cookies! The cottage is thoughtfully designed, well maintained and comfortable. Great for a couple or a small family.

What a great spot Close to Arichat, NS. The cabin was very clean, spacious and quiet. Had all the necessities we needed The hosts were great and answered any questions we had very quickly. Dog friendly is hard to find and this place is a gem. Loved the accommodations!

This was a beautiful, quaint cottage with a million dollar view. Beautiful ocean views, sunsets and private. Jennifer was responsive and helpful with nearby recommendations.

Wow, what can I say. Edwina's place was spectacular. Even better than photos. View from front porch was breathtaking. Cabin was so cute and cozy. Had everything we needed. Wished we had planned to stay an extra day. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Gem of a spot! Close to the convenience of Baddeck but with your own stunning lake view from the porch/your bed and private beach access...worth the trail walk! Theresa, Dave, and Jack were great and ready to help with any of our needs!

Tammy was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and flexible. Her place is cozy and the view is peaceful and beautiful. I loved the screened in porch overlooking the bay.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. The view from the property is beautiful and we throughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio each night. It was the perfect destination if you are travelling with a partner, friends or family. The neighbours next door are phenomenal people and the property still feels very private even though it is on shared land. The only thing that was more challenging was the access to the water. You have to climb down a bit of a hill to access the water since the stairs have been damaged from the winter. We were able to figure it out with a 3 and 8 year old in tow but it definitely took two adults to assist. My children did find that part exciting though. The beach is beautiful and rocky, so be sure to bring your water shoes. The cottage is beautiful and newly renovated. They make it feel like a home away from home. 100% would stay here again and we were very sad to leave when our trip ended.
