Really great place to stay, with great views from the living room and bedroom windows into the forest. You can access the Arcata community forest by walking. Nice kitchen, and spacious living room. I think it would be hard to find a better homestay in Arcata.

Kate and Chuck were friendly and attentive. The space was private, comfortable, warm (It was unseasonably cold during our stay) and clean. Thank you for the lovely stay!

This sweet cottage is perfect for a peaceful, pet friendly, retreat. The back area is great for breakfast tea. The kitchen is super simple and cute with everything you need to make breakfast and dinner. I love the decor and the super cozy bed. A truly great place to relax. The host is super helpful and has awesome Suggestions for activities to do while in Arcata 😀

Julia's studio was a true sanctuary in Arcata. I am so grateful to have landed there. The space is beautiful and well designed to provide cozy yet spacious comfort. I appreciated the attention to detail to make it so. The kitchen is fabulous for cooking meals with the great produce from the nearby co-op market. The rain shower is fabulous. The garden setting is tranquil and lovely. The plants were just beginning to bloom while I was there. I had to work during much of my visit and enjoyed sitting outside, listening to the birds and breeze through bamboo while online. The location is awesome. There are gorgeous trails to hike in walking distance and the magnificent moonstone beach is a short drive - Thank you for that suggestion Julia! Julia was responsive to my questions and accommodated my arrival needs graciously. I highly recommend this sweet abode for solo travelers and couples. I hope to be back in the near future.
