Beautiful lakefront property on Big Stone Lake only steps from downtown Ortonville!
“Everything met our expectations and several things exceeded them. The hosts were great, very responsive and caring. The property was spacious for activities. The house was clean and updated with plenty of room for our large family. The kayaks and paddle boards were an added bonus, and the kids (and adults) got great use out of them. The town was within walking distance, as well as a nice beach. Corn fest was going on the weekend we stayed and the whole family was able to join in the festivities. Overall, a fantastic trip in a fantastic location with fantastic hosts!”

“A wonderful, relaxing place! Clean, private, and Mary is helpful with lots of suggestions of what to do in the area. The window a/c kept up with the hot, humid temps, and the room-darkening shades were great to have to be able to sleep in. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and me. The Lingonberry coffee shop just a few blocks away quickly became a favorite place...we walked there every day.”

“Its bittersweet to be leaving. This nicely fishing themed house was a breath of fresh air. While it does seem more geared towards fisherman. It suited my small gathering wonderfully and slept 3 adults and 2 kids perfectly. It had everything we needed besides food and clothing, and if we needed those it was a very short drive to Dollar General or the local grocery store. There is a lot to do outside with a sitting area, a grill, fireplace, basketball hoop, and kayaks. We didn't use much of the TV that was hooked up to Dish. But if you wanted it has a HDMI port for roku/fire stick, etc. While I didn't fish, my friend and I enjoyed sitting at the end of the dock. Looking into the crystal clear water and watching a good amount of large fish swim by along with turtles. My only issue/concern was something that cannot be helped. Spiders. Which is to be expected for that type of area. All in all, I highly recommended checking this place out.”
